----------------------- Punta Pirulil is located on Rahue area southern of Cucao in Chiloe National Park. Chiloe is a land of superstitions, mysteries, legends and mythological beings. According to one of these Huilliche people legends when a person dies his soul ("Am") must travel to Punta Pirulil bay cliffs to summon Tempilkawe a mythological being that is the ferryman to cross them on his white foam boat to the other shore, across the horizon where you will find the "Pu-Am" a spiritual world where concur the souls of all living beings, animals and plants, an "Anima Universalis" which is the final resting place where attains eternal bliss and happiness. If the soul is not prepared to pay the tolls collected by the Ferryman will stay as penitent wandering soul crying for not being able to escape the sufferings and sorrows of this world. Thus in this area you can hear the groans and cries of those "Animas de Cucao" whose excruciating beg asking Tempilkawe to comes for them. The "Muelle del Alma" (Kuy Kuy Tempilkawe) is a sculpture of "CHUMONO" - Marcelo Orellana Rivera. A tribute to the oral tradition of the People of Chiloe. According to the author: "For the "Am"(Soul) is its dock, poetically perched above the ocean, invisibly wet it a dock as having a physical or bodily access, but not his destiny ... is immaterial. we are talking about a soul searching Alwe become a state of purity ... that we can not access from the body to the other side of the story, encourages the soul expands in that landscape, in this Work-Dock .. "" Then, the work lives, from the edge of two worlds ... one that touches and another that better not by now ... "
