Ja, die ersten Begegnungen….sie stiften nicht nur Lieben auf den ersten Blick, sondern lassen auch Verstörung entstehen. Zum Glück gibt’s ja auch für den ersten Eindruck eine zweite Chance (auch wenn das im Marketing-Lehrbuch anders stehen mag). Denn als das „Goldkehlchen“ das erste Mal ins Glas kam, war es nicht sofort um mich geschehen. Das lag – hinterher ist man schlauer – nicht an der Salzburger Location, eher schon an der Temperatur, mit der man beim Haubenwirt den Cider servierte, vor allem aber am Glas als solchem. Also, diesmal wird eigens darauf hingewiesen, hier wurde aus der Flasche verkostet. Dass man den Cider mit der zeitgeistigen Vogelzeichnung auf dem Etikett und – besonders putzig – der Verschlusskappe kühl trinken soll, rät das Etikett ja schon. Das mit der Flasche rät jetzt das Trinkprotokoll.at. So, jetzt aber zum Produkt selbst: Handgepflückte steirische Äpfel, genauer gesagt: solche vom Sorten-Spezialisten Christof Krispel bzw. seinem Kögerlhof in Markt Hartmannsdorf, werden zunächst zu Saft gepresst, teils zum Most vergoren und dieser dann mit Apfelsaft verschnitten. Damit kommt einerseits der Alkoholgehalt nach unten, aber auch Süße aus reinem Fruchtzucker ins Getränk. Und vor allem verliert sich die Herbheit ein wenig. Allerdings nicht ganz, wie die Verkostung ...
