Middletown Methodist Church on the corner of Armstrong and Washington Streets . Originally constructed in 1871, Middletown Community United Methodist Church was once called the Church of the Pioneers and also, the Middletown Methodist Episcopal Church. The stone structure was planned and built, then dedicated on Oct. 9, 1893, where it still stands.
