My Ode to the Deco Cottage painting series is inspired by whimsical pottery designs from Clarice Cliff and Susie Cooper from the Art Deco era. A limited edition print from a mixed media painting by Orkney artist Jane Glueprinted on C-Type Matt paper in run's of 100 prints of each size. There are two abandoned cottages in Birsay quite close together, one is called 'Hell' and the other 'Purgatory', I am not sure which one this is! I added in the textures and colours below the cottage to create the idea of the cottage sitting on a cliff edge.
