On 3/7/1970 a Comet 4 (G-APDN) of Dan-air London departed from Manchester 🇬🇧 S-SWbound to Barcelona 🇪🇸 ATC delays in the Paris area resulted in a different route to be flown. For an involuntary error, during approach phase, (on both sides: ATC and crew) was impossible to correct Comet’s wrong descent when ATC realised it, the plane crashed near Sierra del Montseny. Sadly 112 people died (105 pax, 7 crew) and today we remember them and their families 🙏🏻
