How—and Why—to Clean a Beach on Your Next Vacation
If you're a frequent cab service user, you know that there are some special Uber drivers on the road that go above and beyond to earn that precious five-star rating from you - or the opposite. They might have stocked their ride full of free goodies, brought their adorable dog along in the backseat, told you a painfully funny story, or given you outstandingly friendly customer service even when you were out-of-your-mind drunk. On the flipside, maybe they got terribly lost trying to find you, crashed their car and kicked you out in the pouring rain, or just creeped you the F out. Driving for Uber isn't for everyone, after all. Love it or hate it, Uber has certainly brought many cherished memories, hilarious stories, and the possibility to meet many funny people, and we're honoring that by rounding up the best ones we could find on the Internet. Scroll down to find out how those best driver ratings are earned and lost on the road, and tell us the best or worst Uber experience you've had in the comments.
If you're working for Uber, you'll have to give more than 60 rides a week to make $50,000.
What makes for a great taxi ride? For me, simply arriving at my destination at a reasonable price is satisfaction enough, perhaps a bit of friendly small talk too. However, since Uber and other ride-share services arrived on the scene with their rating system, drivers have had to step up their game if they want to keep getting those fares. Of course, for many drivers it's not about the ratings at all, they simply pride themselves on delivering a great service.
