I would like to smooch all of the companions in Baldur’s Gate 3, please and thank you (or in this case my half-drow rogue, Yohrun, would like to do just that). Based on this prompt by @starcre8tor !

There are three things that we believe without a shadow of a doubt. First of all, Planet Earth is ruled by a shadowy cabal of Feline Overlords—The Illumeownati who spread their influence through cat pics. Secondly, pineapple definitely belongs on pizza, and there’s nothing you can say that’ll change our minds. And finally: fact really is stranger than fiction.
Female Body (ca 26.5 x 15.5 x 5 inch) Artwork based on associations. Started with an existing mould (they use in clothingshops to sell shirts.) I pour high quality epoxy resin in about 10 - 15 sessions I have to wait about 3 days for the drying of each layer. Then I can e.g change the angle of the mould and pour another layer. During the proces I collect, buy and find things that belong to the subject. I am interested in how things feel and connect. Sometimes it is only the sense of a color or the associaion that a form gives. Sometimes it has more to do with literally meaning. For instanse there are clear references to attraction, hunting, catching, seducing. There are also for example eggs as a reference to the female beiing. But on the other hand : it can go everywhere. ( I can write much more, but your own discoveries are more important.) I think it might be interesting for the spectator to see, feel and discover their own associations and stories. The last 15 years I am in love with resin, the lovely transparent, bright colors. The layers you can make with it. It also "freezes"time. It conserves ideas and feelings. As in my other resinworks the object is a playground of light, color en deforming. So for example the breastform in clear epoxy is a beautifull lens. So in this artwork is a treasure of stories, accosiations, feelings and everytime you look you'll find something different. The artwork can be hanged on the wall. On the backside is possibility to attach a strong rope. ( see last picture ). I also covered the backside with a white epoxylayer, so the wall is not visible in the artwork. ( see last picture )
If you ever feel like you’ve seen it all, done it all, bought it all, then you clearly haven’t spent enough time on the internet. We might spend way more time online than your average Panda, but even we get surprised by some of the things we stumble across. To say that these make us do a double-take would be a disservice: there’s a third take and a fourth one, too.
Painting Eyes on Pebbles is a Yr10 taster lesson and explores the work of Jennifer Allnutt and a more conceptual way of working.
Happy National Poetry Month! Whoo hoo! I love that poetry has a celebratory month. If you hang out here much, you know I'm a big fan of blackout poetry and I DEFINITELY think you should
In this ongoing series of works by artist Joe Suzuki, pools of paint appear like maniacal smiles as they drip from cans and bottles. The colorful sculptures often pay tribute to artists like Warhol, Basquiat, and Keith Haring by referencing symbols used in their own works. The pieces are constructed with resin casting material and enamel, but give the appearance of freshly spilled paint. “I consider my work to be artifacts of my own particular culture, which is not the generalized Japanese American culture, but that which formed as a direct result of being a first generation immigrant,” Suzuki shares in an artist statement.
