Welcome back and I am so excited to share with you this gorgeous new November released Tutti Designs die called Heart To Heart Corner on my card. Isn't this a must on your Christmas list or birthday. I would love to make another card using this die to make a gorgeous pocket to put money or a gift card for someone. I want to share with you a technique that I learned at a card making workshop that might make it easier cutting with these detailed dies. Use the cheapest fabric softener and free of dyes and perfumes behind your card stock when cutting my dies. As you see below, the pieces will stick to the fabric softener. Slowly, I remove the die cut and then rub the fabric softener sheet and the little pieces fall into the trash can. I am able to reuse the fabric softeners again for about three times before throwing the sheet away. For larger dies, I will use two fabric softener sheets. I love making my own flowers and used the Heartfelt Creation Classic Rose die and stamp set. I added a rose colored seam binding bow with a pearl brad in the center. The patterned paper is the gorgeous Blue Fern Studio Timeless Collection. You'll want to be sure to pop over to the Tutti Designs Store and check out all the new November beautiful dies. You can order these gorgeous dies from Tutti Designs on-line store or the wonderful stores and companies that carries Tutti Designs dies. Hello Rubber Cafe' fans! Hope your week is going well so far. At my house, I am suffering from winter allergies. You know runny nose, scratchy throat and weepy eyes. Nothing a nice cup of tea wouldn't fix, right? Well here is a card I made that not only is a card but it is also a tea bag holder ....so its the perfect card for someone who is feeling bad or down. You could give it to that special person and join them in a nice cup of tea while you chat! To make this Teabag Holder card, you will need your February Creative Cafe' Kit of the Month - Tea for Two. Plus you will need some rectangle or square shaped die templates or punches. To make this Teabag holder, start with whatever color cardstock you want from your kit. I made one out of the brown and one out of the green, there are so many nice colors in this kit! To begin, I cut the cardstock to 5" x 11" and using my Scor-Pal, at 3 ½”, 3 ¾”, 7 ¼” & 7 ½”. Here is what it looks like folded up. There is plenty of space for your teabags inside the card! Now its time to make your "window" on the front of the card. For the green card, I used Spellbinder's Labels One die template, but for the brown card I used Classic Rectangles die templates. Here I have used the same size Labels One to cut the window of my card and to cut the sentiment. I stamped the sentiment first and then cut/embossed it Next cut a frame to go around your window on the outside of the card. I used the same size Labels One for the inside of the frame and a bigger Scalloped Labels One for the outside of the frame to make it more decorative. Using Scrap Happy Sheer glue, adhere your patterned paper and frame into place. This is where the Tiny Detailer tip comes in super handy for yourScrap Happy Sheer Glue! Here is the first page of your holder - right when you open up the card. You will need to put the sentiment panel on this page. Adhere everything into place except your sentiment. Close the front page and glue your sentiment into place thru the frame you made. That way your sentiment is...

Hello. I would like to share some projects using a beautiful collection for summer called, 'Just Love Me from Lemoncraft. Lemoncraft creates gorgeous papers form Poland. This collection is soft and delicate and perfect for feminine cards and layouts. My first project is a layout of my kitty. This is a soft and feminine girly layout - but please do not tell my kitty - he is a boy cat and may not like being in a girly layout with all the flowers and pink. I also added some watercolor paints to accent the beautiful colors on the papers. The main sheet of paper used here is LemonCraft 'Just Love Me' collection 12x12 - Just Love Me 02. The photo is matted using a sheet of paper from the 6x6 'Just Love Me' paper pad. If you scroll down, you can find out how you can own this piece ( available in my ETSY shop) and customized with YOUR photo.. How I Created the Background? I really wanted the gorgeous vibrant colors to flow from one side of the page to the other. In order to achieve this look, I accented the Lemoncraft papers with some Prima watercolor Confections - the Tropical set. These are small little watercolors that come in a metal pan - small in size and yet robust in pigmentation. I love them. In order to add watercolor paints to the paper, I did need to prep the Lemoncraft papers first with clear gesso, so that the papers would not absorb the water and warp. To do this, I simply painted the clear gesso on the entire 12x12 sheet before I started embellishing and finishing it. I also made sure the clear gesso was perfectly dry before starting to add the watercolors. Guess What? You can own this layout with all it's fun fabulous florals and YOUR photo. yep true. I'll customize this layout and add your photo to it to make sure it is perfectly blended with the layout and looks professional - perfect. All you need to do is send me your HIGH QUALITY photo and I can edit it to fit. This layout is available in my ETSY shop while it lasts. Here's the link to my ETSY: This is the card made using the 'Just Love Me' collection in the 6x6 paper size. The chipboard frame is from Lemoncraft also. Isn't it lovely? Don't forget to stop by my ETSY shop to see this piece. Link is right here. The link to all my pieces in my shop can be found here. I hope you are also having fun with all the beautiful LemonCraft collections. Thank you for stopping by! Prima and Pink Paislee are having a whole lot of fun together as a perfect match. Prima Marketing and Pink Paislee have paired up products for some added fun. Today we feature some wonderful embellishments from Prima to coordinate with Pink Paislee's Color Wash collection: light, breezy, soft, like a splash of water color on the page with Prima products to make it pop. I really love the Pink Paislee pastels because they have a calming effect on me. These are pastel perfection when mixed with the softness of Prima embellishments. They make a spectacular pairing. The Prima Team decided to make some tags with a theme of "Watercolor Fun". You can find the fun on Social Media using these hashtags: #watercolorfun and #primapinkpaisleswap I used a whole lot of Prima embellishments as accents: Prima Resins Butterflies, Prima Say It In Crystals mini pearl flourishes, Prima Wood Icon Embellishments -Words, Prima Soubrette White Flowers, and Prima Delight Brads. I decided to keep the wood embellishments natural with no ink or mist. They look very delicate that way on my tag. The seam binding used at the top of the tag as well as the ribbon at the bottom were both misted with Heidi Swapp Color Shine Mist in Blush - from Pink Paislee. Why the difference in color ? The seam binding at the top was a cream color which resulted in a cream-sickle orange. YUM. The orange pulls out the color from the Pink Paislee Color Wash Vellum Banners. Thanks so much for joining me today! Be sure to follow Prima this week for more great inspiration. The start of a new month brings a new colour challenge at Lindy's Stamp Gang. Here's the January colour palette, isn't it just gorgeous? I decided to create a layered card and started with white cardstock and Cordinations Gemstone cardstock in white, which has a pearlescent finish. This meant that any sprays used on the Gemstone cardstock became very soft and muted. I used five different Couture Creations dies which I either sprayed with Lindy's Stamp Gang Starburst & Flat Fabio sprays, or I embossed them. I also embossed my metal elements. I dyed some muslin using LSG Orange Creamsicle Flat Fabio spray before layering it behind my metal flower. Both the metal pieces were embossed using Pop Rock Purple which is one of the opaque embossing powders. I sprayed the flowers with Pop Rock Purple and Love At First Sight Lavender to give a nice two-tone effect and add some shimmer. Good morning! We are on Day 2 of sneak peeks for the new September release at Reverse Confetti! There are FOUR new fabulous product lines being released - and they are all outstanding!!! All new products will be available in the store on the at midnight EST on September 8th. For my card today I used all the new solid cardstock and inks, as well as a lovely new floral set called Blooms and Buds: I love the folk art feel to how this card came out - are those flowers fabulous? To make this effect on the flowers, I stampd each of them tone on tone - using the cardstock with it's coordinating ink color. Once I let those dry, and heat set them for good measure, I stamped the second flower layer over the top with embossing ink, then heat embossed in white. The coordinating dies made it easy to cut them all out after that. I layed them all on a die cut using the fabulous new Lacy Scallop Frames (seriously, and new favorite die for sure!) - and once I was happy with the arrangement, used Press and Seal to pick them up, apply adhesive to the back, and stick back in place. My sentiment is from a set from last release - Toucan of Friendship - heat embossed on black cardstock and hand trimmed into a little banner. Here is a peek at the new products I used that will be releasing in a few days - all photos are linked to the Reverse Confetti store! Make sure to check out all the release sneak peeks, and leave a comment before you leave for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate - all comments must be left by noon EST on July 7th - winner will be announced 5 PM EST - there is also a chance to win on the Reverse Confetti Facebook Page. Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. The perfume stamp from Dawn Bibby is really versatile and works really well with WOW extra fine silver embossing powder. Handbags & shoes are always a good fallback for girlfriends.

Hello, friends! An unexpected post for me today as we're having a party to celebrate two little girls' 3rd birthday! Today I have a two-page layout to share using the Simple Stories "Fabulous" collection. My layout is all about the girls' first Valentine's Day party with their friends at church. They were so excited to create Valentine's for their friends and then the party was soooo fun! I had quite a few photos that I wanted to showcase plus I wanted to include the Valentine's they received so I used the 6 x 8 Odds & Ends Memorabilia Pockets (#2009) on the second page. (Make sure you click on the photo to see it larger!) Here's a close-up of the title... And the collage of photos... And here's the pocket full of Valentine's! I added the journaling to the 4 x 6 Vertical Journaling Elements (#2112) from the Fabulous collection. The element actually said "My Top Favorites" so I simply added a few tiny alphabet stickers to change it to "Our". Thanks for looking today and enjoy your weekend! I'll be back soon with party details and a special birthday post on Tuesday!
