Curio Specimen Collection (No. 372)
I'm an absolute sucker for a good bell jar or glass dome display. There is just such a plethora of options for how to fill them, how to use them to the best advantage in your decor. Display a treasured faerie treasure...a sculpture perhaps? The two below are stunning examples by the incredible artist Nenufar Blanco. Create a whole miniature world inside a dome. These two examples are from Life in a Bell Jar. An endless amount of possibilities... The containers themselves can sometimes be the art: After all...there's no precedent for bell jars in fairy tales. No, none at all....

Piratecore is an aesthetic based around the themes of pirates, a person who attacks and robs ships at sea. It usually involves boats, the sea, and treasure rather than actual crime. It draws its inspiration from aesthetics such as Adventurecore and Crowcore, and may include things such as: collecting shells/rocks/trinkets/bones/etc, studying maps and constellations, sea travel, and sketching. Some may even take pride in their weaponry, mainly consisting of swords and daggers. People valuing Pira

Want to start a cabinet of curiosities but don't know where to begin? You've come to the right place! I have been rounding up items that are small in size but hugely interesting for years. Just choose how many specimens you want and I will select a surprise variety of goodies just for you! 5 pieces for $7, 12 pieces for $15, or 25 pieces for $27-- no duplicates! I tend to err on the side of generosity as well so you will likely receive some bonus items as well. The picture features some examples of what you might receive-- animal, vegetable, mineral, and man made wonders. Great for kids just starting out, stocking stuffers, art supplies, or just to fill in small spaces in a larger curio cabinet. Some examples: skate egg case, water caltrop, ancient Roman penny, muskrat jaw, rodent bones, quail eggshell, gar scales, 17 year cicada shell, jewel beetle wings, antique pharmacy/poison labels, vintage denture teeth, snake skin, emu eggshell pieces, sea shells, rocks, crystals, minerals, fossils, butterfly wings, ancient Egyptian beads, Japanese microfossils, porcupine quills, snake bones, and more! All items are legal to own in the US and no animals were harmed specifically for these parts. If you have specific requests for the sourcing of bones, please let me know as "ethically sourced" can be very subjective, but all fit my personal ethics and I can accommodate anyone's preferences with a custom collection. These collections are meant to be a surprise! I pre-package them so not even I know what is in each one when it's sent. If you have specific requests, or requirements, please let me know, and I am happy to make a custom curated collection just for you (pricing may vary depending on your requests), but please send me a message to work on a custom collection. Do not order this item if you want a custom collection instead! Unfortunately I can't ship this out of the US at this time due to regulations around shipping plant and animal parts.
