My debut book, 'It's Chinese New Year, Curious George!' will be coming out in Fall 2022 just in time for Chinese New Year in January 2023.
Curious George: the mischievous monkey with his antics we remember fondly from our own childhoods…I love the opportunity of introducing or enhancing classic children’s books. The classics allow ALL students to participate in our literary culture, no matter how young your students are. The concept of character is the topic for this lesson plan and activity. Included is your Activator, Mini Lesson, Activity, Wrap Up, overarching ELA Common Core standard, as well as links for Extension Activities (you, of course, will need to merely click on these, print, photocopy, and more Curious George at your disposal!). Students will LOVE the original activity on characters with a rubric for students to understand your expectations for their final creation. And, you will love your lesson plan for the activity prepped and perfected and ready for your submission. Enjoy and best, Rockermom
