cafe date 🍵🥐 @getyourdesignerbag
This is such a fun, unique, and creative gift! Plan 12 months of dates for you husband for a year of dates gift! I love these frugal date night ideas!
Your host for this week is our designer from The United Kingdom, Sarah Anderson. Here's what Sarah had to say about her inspiration for this week's challenge: "I've been looking at the autumn trees for a few weeks now, and the ones I have enjoyed the most are the ones with orange and yellow leaves, where the dark brown trunk stands out in stark contrast. Hence my choice of colours for the challenge. I hope you enjoy working with these brights this week, contrasting them with dark brown/black. I'm soooo excited to see what you do with this colour choice" : ) Here are projects from our other designers to help inspire you..... Sandi ~ The Paper Trail / Celticwoman Alison ~ Stretch N' Bubbles Julie Ranae ~ Julie's Open Window The prize for this week is $25 in stamping and scrapping supplies from a variety of companies. Please follow the rules carefully to enter. Deadline for prizes is 11:59pm EST Tuesdays...Cafe Spotlight will be announced on Wednesdays. ALL SKILL LEVELS ARE ENCOURAGED TO PLAY! We want you to enjoy this challenge, so interpret the colors the way you see them. We are not using specific card stock color names nor brands for our challenges, so you can really break out of the box and have some fun. What we do ask is that the colors that are in the challenge BE your focal colors...when using additional colors, please limit them to neutrals. You are welcome to combine challenges, but we do ask that 1. They be used for the first time here 2. You mention in your post that you are playing (better yet, display our color challenge photo) and 3. OUR colors are the focus of the card. See complete rules on sidebar at right THIS WEEK'S SPOTLIGHT & FAB 4 Challenge #1 has come to a close. A very warm thank you to all who entered. We hope you know that because of ALL OF YOU, this challenge was a success the first week out, so please, PLEASE play with us again! The Play Date Cafe is pleased to present the Fab 4 for Challenge #1: Fliss ~ The Stampers Chef Kris L ~ My Desert Inspiration Paulette ~ Beedeebabee Sue Roddis ~ Jabberwocky The Fab 4 can proudly display the 'I Made the Fab 4' badge on their blogs! and in The Play Date Cafe Feature Spotlight...
