I snatched a bit of time to sneak away and get some ink on my lovely new Daisy Lane bundle! I am really tickled with the new smaller size Daisy Punch, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE the way the original Delightful Daisy stamp set and punch coordinate with the companion set. I used both stamp sets but only the smaller Daisy punch on the cards in this post, just FYI. Ready to recreate this card at home? Can you tell I really, really like the Daisy Lane cling stamp set? It was one of the things that was in the bag we received when we went to OnStage in April. And who doesn't like free stuff?! Unfortunately, the stamp set didn't come with the coordinating Medium Daisy Punch, so I had to fussy-cut all those petals! But you don't have to, because now the punch is available to order, and I won't have to any more because I ordered the punch Tuesday. Yay! Okay, here's the deal.... Stampin' Up! has challenged all OnStage attendees (that includes yours truly) to sell THREE Daisy Lane stamp sets between now and July 22nd. Now that's just the stamp set, but if you wanted to add the Medium Daisy Punch and get the 10% discount on the bundle, that would be a smart move! Either way, if you order the stamp set OR the bundle from me before the end of June, I will send you a pack of the Perennial Essence Floral Centers that I used here. PLEASE BE SURE TO USE THE HOST CODE ON THE RIGHT! By the way, those floral centers were also used on the samples in the new catalog on pages 23, 73, and 106. If I can meet the challenge, I will get a free stamp set from the upcoming Holiday catalog that comes out in September. Woohoo! Like I said, who doesn't like free stuff?! You get free stuff, I get free stuff; it's a win-win situation! I sent this card out recently as a belated birthday card. It uses the awesome new Daisy Lane Set. Since I attended On Stage in San Antonio back in April, I am participating in a special challenge for On Stage attendees issued by Stampin' Up! If I sell three of the Daisy Lane Sets (either separately or as part of the Daisy Lane Bundle) by July 22, then I will get a FREE stamp set from Stampin' Up! from the Holiday Catalog when it comes out soon. If you'd like to help me meet this challenge, then please be sure...
I have a simple card today showing off some of the stamps included in the new Daisy Lane cling stamp set. This new set is going to coordinate beautifully with the current Daisy Delight set, which is carrying over. AND it has a new coordinating Medium Daisy Punch, too! I started by stamping the fern leaf all over a 3-3/4" x 5" piece of Whisper White using Soft Sea Foam. It was adhered to a 3-7/8" x 5-1/8" piece of Mossy Meadow and then to the card base. The daisy was stamped in Grapefruit Grove and colored with Daffodil Delight Stampin' Blends. Then the Mossy Meadow leafy stem was added and the whole thing was cut out with a Rectangle Stitched Framelit. The mat behind it measures 1-13/16" x 3-13/16". The "Friend" was heat embossed in white on a 1" strip of Mossy Meadow and put through the back side of the Everyday Label punch to trim the ends. Makes it look completely different, doesn't it? A Mossy Meadow Linen Thread bow completed the card. Simply charming, I think. Don't you think daisies are the friendliest flower? (Name that movie.)

Hi & welcome, I have used more retiring products on this card and also have used a couple of colouring techniques. I coloured the Shimmery White Embossing Paste (#145645) with a very small amount of So Saffron ink refill (#105225). A small amount goes a long wag. To mix this I put a small amount of the embossing paste onto a Silicone Craft Sheet (#127853) and gradually added the ink refill till it was the coloured I wanted. Using one of the Butterflies & Flowers Layering Decorative Masks (#158142), I applied the embossing paste with a Palette Knife (#142808) onto the Very Vanilla card (#106550). I didn't want this perfectly embossed. The daisy and leaves are from the Daisy Lane stamp set (#149325). The flower was stamped twice onto Daffodil Delight card (#121680) with Daffodil Delight ink (#147094). Clear Wink Of Stella (#141897) was added to the petals. These were punched with the Daisy Punch (#143713) and attached with a Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430), offsetting the petals. The leaves were stamped with Pear Pizzaz ink (#147104) and fussy cut. I punched the corner with the Detailed Trio Punch (#146320), then attached the Very Vanilla card to the Daffodil Delight card. Before wrapping the ribbon around the card, I also coloured this as I didn't have the colour I wanted. I used the Pale Papaya Open Weave Ribbon (#155672) and coloured it with Daffodil Delight ink and a Blending Brush (#153611). “Thinking Of You” from Quiet Meadow stamp set (#155082) was stamped with Daffodil Delight ink, then cut with a Potted Succulents Die (#154330). I cut the Daffodil Delight card also with the same die, cut it in half then attached it to the back of the sentiment. This was attached with Stampin’ Dimensionals. The leaves and daisy were attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots (#103683). Before adding the embellishments to the flower centre I also coloured these using the Dark Daffodil Delight Stampin’ Blend (#154883), colouring the Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#144220). The retiring products used here are the Daisy Lane stamp set, Daisy Punch and the Detailed Trio punch. Don’t forget to check the retiring list on the following link- https://su-media.s3.amazonaws.com/media/Promotions/2022/04_Last-Chance-AC/PDF/2021-2022-Annual-Catalog-Last-Chance-Products_SP.pdf TIP: (1)When colouring ribbons I would usually use white or very vanilla ribbons but this worked with the Pale Papaya being a light colour. (2)When using coloured embossing paste I usually have extra card ready to use any excess paste, so as not to waste it. If it is used without adding colour it can be returned to the jar. (3) The embossing paste will set very quickly, so work quickly and wash the mask, palette knife and silicon mat as soon as finished. “Love what you do and share what you love.” lesleyjendra.stampinup.net [email protected]

It is such a beautiful day here in Michigan and while taking a walk I noticed my neighbors gorgeous garden of daisies. That inspired me to make a card for a friend. I punched out 2 daisy's per flower in white and adhered together and then stamped some daisy's using Daffodil Delight ink and cut out the centers to adhere to the middle of my white daisies. I stamped several fern leaves using Granny Apple Green ink in the bottom left, center area of my card front. I stamped a fern, then stamped off until I had a nice area of ferns on my card. Then I ran this piece thru the Dots embossing folder. I popped up some and glue some of the daisies in place. On a scrap of white I stamped Friend using Bumblebee ink. (I wanted it to be a bit bolder than my flowers) I punched out the sentiment using the Double Oval Punch and punched out a scalloped oval in Bumblebee cardstock - To match my card base. I also entered this card in the Global Design Challenge 303. #GDP303 ENJOY! QUICK LINKS Contact me here. Customer Loyalty shopping form. Visit my online store here. Shop the Clearance Rack here. Hi & welcome everyone, One of the 2019-2021 In colours is the Seaside Spray, which I have used on this card. Isn’t it pretty. The cardstock is Whisper White (#106549), and the Designer Series Paper is from the 6”x6” 2019-2021 In Colour Designer Series Paper (#149617), which includes the 5 In Colours in 4 designs. The stamped image from A Little Lace stamp set (#c149364), was stamped with VersaMark (#102283), then embossed with Gold Stampin’ Emboss Powder (#109129) and heat set with the Heat Tool (#129056). “Smile”, also from A Little Lace stamp set was stamped with Seaside Spray ink (#150085). The 2 daisies from the Daisy Lane stamp set (#c149325) were stamped with Seaside Spray ink. I stamped 2 of each image, and punched them with the Daisy Punch (#143713) and the Medium Daisy Punch (#149517). These were layered and glued with the Multipurpose Liquid Glue (#110755). I added a pretty Flower Faceted Gem (#149479) to the flower centre. Enjoy your day. www.lesleyjendra.stampinup.net [email protected]

This was the other card I made for the Stamp Review Crew hop before I realized I had used the wrong daisy stamp set. D'oh! I like the kind of vintage feel of it. Originally I had planned to just go with a black and white color scheme, with maybe a pop of Bermuda Bay. As I was heading over to the DSP to grab something black & white, I noticed the Share What You Love Specialty DSP and suddenly Crumb Cake jumped into the picture. Funny how that happens....I start in one direction and end up going in a completely different one. GPS is no help, either! It's been a loooong time since I've distressed edges on my projects, and I couldn't find my distress tool, so I used my paper snips, held open. Worked like a charm! Hi everyone, Welcome to my blog. Thanks so much for popping in to see me. Today it is time for another "Card Making for Beginners" post. I decided that I hadn't used the Medium Daisy punch and the accompanying stamp set - Daisy Lane - for an age so I thought it was time to dust it off. I loved the Medium Daisy Punch when it first came out - and I still do! So great for someone with my brand name! I used one of the dies from Ornate Layers for the panel - haven't used these dies nearly enough! The sentiment is from the Handsomely Suited stamp set but any appropriately sized sentiment from your stash could be used. Hello Ladies & Guys, This beautiful Sympathy card could also be used for any special occasion, just by changing the sentiment. I have used Seaside Spray (#150889) for the base card and Whisper White (#106549) for the card front and the daisies. The sentiment from Painted Glass stamp set (#c148220) was stamped with Seaside Spray ink (#150085), as well as the daisies from Daisy Lane stamp set (#c149325). I stamped 2 large and 2 small daisies, then punched them with the Daisy Punch (#143713) and Medium Daisy Punch (#149517) and assembled them with Mini Glue Dots (#103683) and a Stampin’ Dimensional (#104430). The leaves from Daisy Lane stamp set were stamped with Silvery Shimmer Delicata Metallic Ink (#150709). The Sparkle Glimmer Paper (#146957) leaves were cut with a die from the Frosted Frames Dies (#150658) and attached to the card with Mini Glue Dots. The ribbon is Seaside Spray 1/4” Metallic Ribbon (#150446) and the embellishment in the centre of the flower is from the 2019-2021 In Colour Faceted Dots (#149607). I added glitter to the daisies with the Clear Wink Of Stella Glitter Brush (#141897). I hope you have a fantastic weekend. lesleyjendra.stampinup.net [email protected]

Hi Friends! I'm home from New York, and ready for a card challenge. In fact, I was ready for two! Daisy "hi" I decided to use daisies, when I saw CAS(E) this sketch. And, my idea
Happy Sunday! Time for a new creative challenge over at The Paper Players. This week, Joanne is hosting our monthly Clean and Simple (CAS) Challenge. Check it out and play along with us! I don’t know about you, but I have quite a few floral stamp sets. As soon as I saw this challenge, I immediately went to one of my all-time favorite sets: Daisy Lane. Daisies are such “happy” flowers and really remind me of spring. Since this was a CAS challenge, I kept the card pretty simple while keeping that big, bold blossom the focal point of the card. The Best Dressed Designer Series Paper has some beautiful floral patterns and the pattern I picked seemed to work well with the daisy, too. Color Combo: Purple Posy Mint Macaron Daffodil Delight Whisper White This card came together pretty easily with the help of four different punches. I started by stamping two daisy images fro the Daisy Lane stamp set on Purple Posy Cardstock. One thing to note, Purple Posy Ink is NOT available so I just colored the stamp using the Purple Posy Stampin’ Write Marker. Easy fix! Then I stamped a second daisy in Daffodil Delight Ink on Daffodil Delight Cardstock. I punched out the two purple posy flowers using the Daisy Punch and the center of the Daffodil Delight flower using the 1/2” Circle Punch. Next, I punched two leaves from the Leaf Punch from Mint Macaron Cardstock. I also used a stylus to add some little “veins” to the leaves to give them a little more texture. Then I punched two springs from the Sprig Punch out of Vellum and cut them in half so I could spread them out a little more behind the daisy. For some added detail I used Clear Wink of Stella Glitter Brush to add some sparkle to the daisies and also to the leaves. Then I added some Shimmery Crystal Effects to the center of the flower to dress it up a bit. I was inspired by the current sketch challenge over at Freshly Made Sketches for my card layout. It’s no secret that I LOVE a good sketch challenge and this one really worked out perfectly for my daisy card. Check out the FMS challenge, you will find some awesome creative inspiration there. Card Measurements and Details: Purple Posy Card Base - 4-1/4” x 11”, scored at 5-1/2” Whisper White Cardstock - 4” x 5-1/4”, embossed with Layered Leaved 3D Embossing Folder Best Dressed Designer Series Paper - 4” x 1-7/8” Whisper White Cardstock - 2-1/2” x 3/4”, for stamped sentiment Scraps of Vellum , Purple Posy, Mint Macaron and Daffodil Delight Cardstock for stamped and punched images Whisper White Flax Ribbon - separate 2 strands approximately 4-1/2” long and wrap around the Whisper White Layer Whisper White Cardstock (inside card) - 4” x 5-1/4” Best Dressed Designer Series Paper (inside card) - 1” x 5-1/4” Finally, a look inside the card. I added another strip of that beautiful DSP and a sentiment from the Peaceful Moments stamp set along with a little stamped flower from the Perennial Birthday stamp set.
