Archive for Space has completed Zuma Porto Cervo, a new restaurant in Sardinia, Italy. The restaurant is a new opening for Zuma on the Costa Smeralda comprising an extensive lounge, restaurant terrace, kitchen, ancillary spaces and gardens. The restaurant is part of a larger redevelopment of an existing Tennis Club and Hotel. Sited prominently on a former terrace and garden of an existing Tennis Club and Hotel, Zuma Porto Cervo is a contemporary interpretation of the typical pergolas common in Sardinia. Built of an engineered FCS timber and bamboo, the stepped and overlapping roofs draw on the familiar and established languages of the Costa Smeralda, synthesising these to create a contemporary yet nostalgic aesthetic.

Here's the class demo from Advanced 3D program I taught at ArtCenter, it was fun time teaching there with those talents. Main topic of the this project is to redesign a future space rocket centre. I got inspired by Edo-Tokyo Museum built in the year 1993 and its W&B color palette gives the facility classic retro scifi vibe with 4 legs lifted design, that pushed it extreme mordern architect direction. But also minimize window & glass material also added slighly brutalism flavour. Background objects and characters models are kitbashed from BigMediumSmall, love those super detailed nailed excellent!
