This week's YouTube projects were all about plaid! I love the pretty plaid patterns in their soft colours that are in Stampin' Up!'s 'Timeless Plaid' DSP. I actually started off by making a set of matching cards and then decided that they needed a matching box to go in! So be sure to find the replay of the YouTube video below to learn how to make the box and the coordinating set of 4 cards.Card Set Gift BoxThis box is kind of shaped like a book and fits the 4 cards and envelopes inside. • When

This is just gorgeous flowery imaged DSP! I love the way this card turned out. It is so pretty! And it is made using some of my favorite colors. I used the #159918-Wonderful World stamp set & coordinating Wonderful Worlds DSP that is a FREE SALE-a-bration choice with a $100 product order. Notice the pretty stamped flower? It is all one stamp & I have 2 colors on it. How did I do that? I used my Stampin' Write Markers- Rich Razzleberry & Pear Pizzazz. I colored directly onto the red rubber stamp, using the brush tipped (fatter) end. I breathed onto the colored stamp to moisten it. I stamped it onto Basic White card stock! Check out the cool scalloped corners on the tag. I used the #159878- Very Best Trio Punch= $21.00 How do you do this? The way to get both corners to be the same is you have to punch one corner & THEN FLIP your card stock over & punch the other corner. This way they are mirror imaged on the card & both corners look the same. It is super easy to do! But check out these tags. Notice how you can get 2 totally different tags by using the same exact punch! To make the left one I slid both corners into the left side of the punch. AND to make the right one I slid both corners into the right side of the punch. AND to make the slit in the center top I used the slit punch that is also on this Very Best Trio Punch! Today's two cards that I've created I have used the Perennial Essence Designer Series Paper this paper reminds me of the French Impressionism and the colours are just stunning. I've also used the Floral Essence Stamp Set, Perennial Flower Punch and the Leaf Punch. Product colours: Balmy Blue, Blackberry Bliss, Blueberry Bushel, Calypso Coral, Crushed Curry, Flirty Flamingo, Mossy Meadow, Old Olive, Petal Pink, So Saffron, Whisper White The first card I've based the colours is from the DSP using Petal Pink, Crushed Curry, Mossy Meadow and Whisper White. The flowers have been stamped in Petal Pink Ink and lightly coloured in with the Stampin' Blends in the coordinating colour. The leaves are stamped in Mossy Meadow Ink which coordinates with the Mossy Meadow Linen Thread. The greeting fits nicely in the 2" Circle Punch and layered with Petal Pink Cardstock using the Starburst Punch. The second card I've used is Blackberry Bliss, Pretty Peacock, Old Olive and Whisper White as you can see there are plenty of different shades of colours throughout the DSP and I've only chosen a few. I've used the same stamp set for this card, but this flower coordinates with the Perennial Flower Punch making flowers nice and quick. Blackberry Bliss Ink for the flower, followed by colouring in with the coordinating Stampin' Blends and the leaves are in Pretty Peacock. The elegant ribbon is Old Olive/Pretty Peacock 3/8" reversible Ribbon which has a beautiful sheen on both sides. I've layered the DSP on both cards the same way, but changing up using different colours, flowers, Ribbons and Punches. Hello! I have been having fun playing with my latest delivery of new goodies... sneak peeks from the Summer mini catty. I combined this week's Colour Q palette with the layout from Deconstructed Sketches and got inky with the fab Tea Shoppe set. I created some china tea cups with these colours... I stamped and cut out the tea cups then glazed them with crystal effects. The sentiment was selectively inked with coordinating markers then punched out with an oval punch. I added some faux stitching with a black marker around the sentiment, image panel and dsp background layer. The three patterned panels are from a new dsp pack in the Summer mini called Attic Boutique. Here's the recipe: Stamps: Tea Shoppe Ink: Poppy Parade, Lucky Limeade, Pumpkin Pie, Stazon Paper: Attic Boutique dsp, Tea Time Simply Scrappin kit, Pumpkin Pie, Whisper White, Basic Black Accessories: Dotted scallop ribbon border punch, oval punch, scallop oval punch, crystal effects, black marker Thanks for stopping by! x Amy x
