Photos from The Definitive Ranking of Sadie Robertson's DWTS Looks
The August 19, 2015 episode of A&E's Duck Dynasty, showcased Willie and Korie Robertson's eldest son, John Luke and his fiancee Mary Kate McEacharn tying the knot at the Robertson family farmhouse. Fans were delighted to finally catch a glimpse of the beautiful day! According to Us Weekly, the couple shared their own personal vows at the farmhouse in West Monroe, LA, where more than 800 family and friends gathered to celebrate the couple. Robertson and McEacharn, first met in 2010 at a Christian summer camp and began dating in March 2013. "I had tried to date her before, and she kept turning me down! I just kept at it and she finally said yes!" Robertson joked about their courtship. Willie (who officiated the ceremony) opened with a few words of wisdom for the couple about marriage: “Marriage is a lot like building a house, it takes work, it can be stressful, so—welcome to marriage. Unless you’re Uncle Si, you probably don’t talk to your house, and you’d never get angry with it. When something happens with your house, what do you do? You immediately try to get it fixed. Our house receives us every time we walk in, and keeps folks out that we don’t want in, and it welcomes those in that we love. We care for, we clean it, and we keep it nice. We’re proud of our house. Build it on the Lord and it will last.” After the couple exchanged vows, a kiss, and walked down the aisle as husband and wife, the family celebrated one last time with an lavish party, featuring dinner, cake, dancing, and of course, fireworks. Up next, the two will both be going to Liberty University in the fall. McEacharn stopped attending Louisiana Tech to plan the wedding. Take a look at some beautiful photos from their special day!
