Hello, today its "All About Flowers" on Kylie Bertucci's International blog highlight. Flowers make us happy, and Stampin' Up! has some wonderful sets that feature gorgeous images of flowers. I've made my card using the soon to be released Sweet Soiree Stamp set, it is featured in the Occasions Catalogue which launches on January 3 2018, it also has coordinating framelits, and the best part is when you bundle you save 10% PLUS you also qualify for a FREE Sale-A-Bration item... win, win! I love the Stitched Shapes framelits, and how they coordinate with the scalloped ovals in the Layering Ovals set, this was the starting point for my design, then I added the flowers and die cuts from Sweet Soiree, with a touch of Wink of Stella for shimmer, then mounting on the reverse embossed pattern from the Petal Burst embossing folder. I used sponge daubers to apply the ink to the flower stamps, starting with the lighter colour in the centre and going darker towards the edge of the stamp. Daffodil Delight, Flirty Flamingo with Rich Razzleberry were used on the small flowers with a touch of Melon Mambo, Berry Burst and Rich Razzleberry on the large flower. I would love if you could take the time to vote for my card at Kylie Bertucci's host page for this blog highlight,- The top ten winners will get to be part of an international blog hop so please vote for my project.
