In Abruzzo c'è una bella tradizione ed è proprio quella del cavallo e della pupa: regali che si scambiavano i giovani promessi sposi. Erano regali commestibili fatti con un impasto non molto dolce, abbastanza consistente, era un dolce da inzuppare nel vino o nel latte. Si usava sistemare al centro della figura un uovo crudo che rappresentava la fecondità. A me sinceramente non è mai piaciuto tanto quest'uovo messo lì, ma se la tradizione è così ......Adesso vi dò la ricetta, ovvio che questa non è quella di cui parlavo prima è molto più gustosa ma è sempre una ricetta molto antica con cui si fanno i biscotti. 500gr di farina 200gr di zucchero 3 uova 1 bicchiere di olio buccia di limone grattuggiato 1/2 bustina di lievito vanigliato Per la ghiaccia: 1 albume qualche goccia di succo di limone zucchero al velo Fare una fontana con la farina, mettere dentro le uova, lo zucchero, l'olio, il limone, la bustina di lievito. Impastare come fosse una pasta frolla , fino a che diventa liscia. Prendere un po' d'impasto e fare la forma di una bambola. Metterla in una teglia e infornare a 180° per circa 15/20'. Preparare la ghiaccia con un po' d'albume e zucchero al velo, aggiungendo quest'ultimo fino a che la consistenza non diventi come un dentifricio; poi sbizzarrirsi con disegnini e mompariglia.
