Elegant illustrated Christmas cards by Swedish artist Einar Nerman (1888-1983). Einar moved to Stockholm to study art when he was 17 and then went on study in Paris under the instruction of Matisse at the Academie Matisse in Paris. In 1912 he returned to Sweden to study dance and music. In the 1920's he lived and worked in London and then moved to New York during the second world war.
