SCAMPER is a tool to enhance creative thinking, developed by Bob Eberle. This mnemonic can be used to help students comprehend stories at a deeper level. S stands for substitute. C stands for combine. A stands for add something. M stands for magnify/minify. P stands for put to other uses. E stands for eliminate. R stands for rearrange.
