I spent a solid 10 years soaking up life in Puerto Rico, where I gathered a bunch of popular Spanish sayings and matched them with their English equivalents. While other resources online might start with the Spanish saying and give you the English version, that's all well and good if you're a native Spanish speaker or already know the Spanish saying you're after. But if English is your mother tongue, what you really need is the reverse: the English saying paired up with its Spanish equivalent.

Word Wheel - AR Words: This 2-page print-out makes a word wheel; it consists of a base page together with a wheel that spins around. When you spin the wheel, six words that rhyme with
Pinyin - is Chinese transcription system and is an important element in learning the Chinese language. It helps to master the pronunciation, boosts confidence in the ability to speak Chinese, helps to learn how to pronounce a new word, allows to type in Chinese, and search the words in a dictionary. The lesson contains 3 sets of flashcards: 1. Big cards with vowels / finals - with all 4 tones and basic consonants / initials. I made them mostly for display or practicing listening skills when the students listen to the sound they need to show the correct card 2. Smaller cards. Cards with vowels have QR-codes that can be scanned to listen to native pronunciation and practice reading and correct pronunciation. The cards are intentionally made much smaller, so it is more convenient for students to combine initials and finals to make words. 3. The third set is a little smaller than the second one and consists of digraphs ( the cards are square and not color coded). All the sounds from this set have QR-codes, so all sorts of matching activities can be done. The cards in each set has different size, that way the cards are a little easier to sort. By combining vowels and consonants, students can practice tones and pinyin even at home without a teacher. QR-codes allow making the lesson more engaging. I also added an empty template to create various activities with QR-codes. Contents: The cards with vowels: a, o, e, i, u, ǖ The cards with consonants: b,p,m,f,d,t,n,l,g,k,h,j,q,x,z,c,s,zh,ch,sh,r I also included: ng, w, y Small cards with QR-codes vowels with tones and bo-po-mo-fo-de-te-ne-le-ji-qi-xi-zhi-chi-shi-ri-zi-ci-si sounds. Lyrics for the "bo-po-mo-fo" song's lyrics. _________________________________________________________ The vowels are colored red and the consonants are colored blue. I hope my lesson would be useful and enjoyable, I would love to hear the feedback or any suggestions from you! ^_^ Related Products Chinese Tongue twisters Useful Templates for Chinese Chinese Pinyin Trackers

This quick articulation screener is a fast and easy articulation screening tool. Easily assess all phonemes in all positions! Use it to determine whether further evaluation is necessary, or as a baseline/ progress monitoring tool! I've also included a typical development chart to easily assess whether errors are developmental. Use this screener to determine if the speech errors the child says are developmentally appropriate or delayed. This screener only takes about 5 minutes to administer. Some pictures are used for 2 different sounds (e.x., "soap" - initial /s/ and final /p/), less pictures equals quicker screening! This screener uses simplified vocabulary words that most children should be able to label. I carefully selected the words so that each word is "easy" to produce (e.x., there are no words with both a /t/ and a /k/, and the early developing words do not contain blends). Included in this screening packet: Stimulus pictures 2 variations of screening forms - includes phonetic transcription for quick scoring Summary Report The following sounds are assessed: /p, b, m, n, h, w, t, d,. k, g, f, v, j, l, s, z, r/ "sh", "ch", "j", "th", /s/ blends. /l/ blends, /r/ blends, and multisyllabic words I always appreciate feedback! Feel free to give me suggestions on how I can alter this screener to suit your needs better! Leaving feedback also earns you "credits" which can be used for discounts on future purchases. (To leave feedback, just go to your My Purchases page. Next to each listed purchase will be a Provide Feedback button. Click it and you'll be taken to the page to leave a rating and short comment) Thanks!
Ever need a way to help increase your student's ability to make sounds at the syllable level? I have several students on my caseload that struggle to move beyond making the sound in isolation. I made these webs and they have been an incredibly useful tool in showing my students HOW to make their sounds in CV and VC syllables. →To use, decide if you want to target CV or VC syllables. If targeting CV syllables, start from the inner green circle. Have the child make the sound in isolation. Then, show them how to drag their finger from the inner circle to one of the vowel circles. To work on VC syllables, start in an outer vowel circle and move inwards. In the bottom left corner of each page is a picture to help cue your child to produce the correct sound. For example, a ball is shown on the /b/ page (i.e., buh buh buh for bouncing) and a dog is shown on the /h/ page (i.e., huh huh huh for a panting dog). A table of all of these child-friendly cues is included as well! Included is a visual for the following speech sounds: b, p, m, h, w, y, d, n, t, k, f, g, j, sh, ch, l, v, r, s, z, and th. Additionally, I included 1 blank sheet in case you want to customize it with other sounds! I updated this packet to include three different versions for each consonant sound: the original version, a long vowel sounds version, and a short vowel sounds version. See the preview pictures to get a better understanding of what each page looks like. ☺One buyer said, "The best purchase I have ever made.." The same speech sound visuals are use in my Speech Sound Cue Cards freebie. Click here to check that out!
