I was lucky to see the Airlander on my way to Old Warden airfield which is a few miles south east of here. It's recently been announced that they'll be moving the airship away from Cardington. The giant hangar on the far side was built in 1917 at RNAS Pulham in Norfolk to house the new rigid airships. Hangar No 2 was dismantled and moved to Cardington in 1928. Hi, my name is Alexander Khimushin. I am a traveling photographer born and raised in Sakha (Yakutia) - the coldest region of the world and one of the most isolated regions of Siberia. 10 years ago, I packed a backpack and set out on a journey that continues to this day, traveling alone to the most remote and inaccessible corners of the world. Visiting Indigenous People and learning about their cultures and traditional ways of living has become the most inspiring experience of my life. The last several years I dedicated to The World In Faces photo project that showcases the incredible diversity of our multicultural world through photo portraits and personal stories of Indigenous People.

Two years ago, when Martin Usborne and Ann Waldvogel set up Hoxton Mini Press, they did so with the intention of producing collectable art books about “the city’s most exciting and vibrant area” – London’s East End. They have stayed true to that vision, so far producing more than 10 books, each of which has…
Description For their first time as a duo, Marion Cousin and Eloïse Decazes perform the vernacular repertoire of the songs of Tras-O-Montes, north-east of Portugal. The resulting offering is an amorous, raw, heretical take on this material, a sprig of work and celebration chants, songs of exasperation uttered with their two voices, so far away and so close from each other in a plastic regional idiom, Mirandese - semi-phonetically and playfully appropriated here. Their voices scale up mutinously, wildly, sketching melodies and dancing boldly in and out of tune, in an euphorically deranged environment, a flood of ungainly noises: machines, lethargic drumboxes, nano-brutalist synths, unnerving guitar sketches, bursts of laughter. Abundantly vivid. Staggeringly wonderful. Track List: Disc: 11. Dona Inês 2. A Fonte Do Salgueirinho 3. O Conde de Alemanha 4. Dona Filomena 5. Mineta 6. A Minha Costureirinha 7. La Sarandilhera 8. La Lhoba Parda 9. Juliana 10. Não Segueis O Trigo Verde

Apart from the 3' 6" gauge lines in Java there were a few lines of 600mm gauge, though these had closed by the time of our visit. Some of the engines for these lines were still around however, and one of them is in use here as a "kettle" to produce steam to power the pumps that kept the water tower topped up. This is at Djati depot in Probolinggo, not far from one of the lines they operated, between Balung and Ambulu near the south coast of East Java. This is one of the 0-6-0Ts of class TC10, No. TC10 06. About The Artwork The Painting presented here is about the life at a bus stop in Qingdao, my beautiful place at the Chinese Sea. I spent an afternoon there indulging my wait letting the buses go. There is a sort of permanence in the ritual of waiting, entering, departing justifying the way I paint. In company with the boys watching, the wise, over-patient sutlers, and the never-changing crowd of those waiting the artist comes to terms with himself. The painting has a very special support, for it's is carried out on an old sandwich door, thoroughly prepared for painting by my favorite joiner. You see it's history on it's reverse side.
