I found this on the web. I drove one of these for 11 years and I'm still nostalgic. I was the third owner, and when I sold it, it was to a woman who didn't have a car at the time (rode a bike) but had a dog, and she was TRULY thrilled to buy it. I had mine from 1985 - 1996. It was such an awesome car. It overheated and leaned to one side, but I've never before or since driven something where people would stop and talk to me about my car. I would get notes left on the windshield saying "if you ever want to sell this, please call". It had heart and soul. I regret selling it, I should have just put it in the garage. I needed to commute and it was not the best at that. I'm not a car person until it comes to Landcruisers. Then I will talk engines and wheels and differentials and stories. I hope it's a good thing that our next car around here is likely an FJ Cruiser.
