When Ikea discontinued the small Trofast bins we were so sad as they provide some great play options for the Ikea Flisat table. The bins are now stocked but we still find this little adaptor insert a great addition to your sensory play bins - which we discovered as we tested it! This adaptor is super stable and makes play with a small insert (or 2) in a large bin fuss free! These Flisat inserts/table tops are made to fit the large Flisat bins. No felt pieces are included. Made from premium acrylic or Maple Plywood which is fused together with food safe soy materials and not formaldehyde. A note about wood : wood is prone to warping under high or low temperatures and moisture levels. The wood used for these inserts has a water-resistant composition which has a higher moisture tolerance than panels made with formaldehyde and is less likely to warp. Regardless of this, we cannot guarantee that each and every insert remains completely flat due to changes in environment. If you find your insert isn’t as flat as you’d like, you can try spraying the bottom with a very light amount of water and putting the board under some heavy items to help flatten it out. © AW & Co. 2022 © All rights reserved by artist. Each tray is made completely in house, from scratch, by a husband and wife team. Made Maple Plywood which is fused together with food safe soy materials and not formaldehyde. 1/4” thick. A note about wood : wood is prone to warping under high or low temperatures and moisture levels. The wood used for these inserts has a water-resistant composition which has a higher moisture tolerance than panels made with formaldehyde and is less likely to warp. Regardless of this, we cannot guarantee that each and every insert remains completely flat due to changes in environment.
