Donna chose the Sending Love bundle for here 'Artist of the Month' showcase. Today I'll share half of the cards she made and the other half tomorrow. This one is a favorite of mine. There's something about the color combination. Vanilla with Lost Lagoon & Calypso Coral. And her coloring! Next is a card that looks just like a postcard! She stamped a background on the Starry Sky 'Postcard' layer then added the best 'faux' postcard over it. Below is...
Sometimes preparing projects for a class can take me forever! If my mojo isn't with me it is not fun! But this month the cards came together quickly and I love them! Look! This first card is what I am
Here's another project made on last week's Live video; it's the Josephs Coat technique using the new, upcoming Leaf Collection stamp. That greeting stamp & scalloped oval die-cut are from the new Unbounded Love bundle from the upcoming 2024 Annual Catalog. I showed how to do this technique in the video here. I also have a free project sheet with directions. Here are the steps: Sponge ink all over a neutral piece of card stock - Pretty Peacock, new Summer...
I've got a sweet little birdie for you today. I wanted something quick, easy & cute since I've got a full agenda today. I used just 3 punches for this card - and just 2 to make the bird! Sweet huh? Easy too! I used the 1 3/4" circle & the scallop circle punches. In fact, the wings, tail & top feathers all came from one punched scallop circle! Just punch one & use the 1 3/4" circle punch to...

There has been a huge run on a few of our Sale-a-Bration and Occasions catalog products. So much so that they have completely drained their inventory and it will be awhile before they're back in stock. Here's the list: Butterfly Duet Punch (and Butterfly Gala bundle) - it's not available and will return approximately April 1st. Cake Builder Punch (and Piece of Cake bundle) - Also not available; should be back around March 18th Sale-a-Bration Organdy Ribbon - unavailable but...
Welcome to the Control Freaks June blog hop! This month's theme is 'New Catalog Creations'. You may have just arrived or come from Patty Bennett's blog where you saw her beautiful projects. Just keep clicking on the Freak's icon at the end of each post to make the complete round of 11 of us. This is one of the cards I made for a swap and also for my downline meeting in May. It's a little unusual because the lower...
I've seen quite a few cards made with this pretty stamp set and this sketch. It's always fun to stamp a background on a card and this 2-toned method is one of my favorites. Each time you stamp your image stamp twice in two separate places to get 2 hues of color. I used Tangerine Tango with Old Olive. The extra color here is Pool Party. See the beautiful satin ribbon? That's another free choice - 3 spools of satin...
This month I am featuring the Bordering on Romance stamp set. This set coordinates with the Adorning Accents Edgelits and embossing folders on page 7 of the Occasions Mini catalog. It's a very pretty set perfect for those who like to color. Here are three of the five cards you'll make with this Class to Go. These floral stamps are so pretty! It was easy to make attractive cards with this set. I do suggest you invest in a Black...

This is one of the cards we made at April's Card Clubs. Isn't that black Doily die-cut gorgeous!? It totally makes this card! Card Details: Watercoloring Technique: We inked the Bordering on Romance flower image in Black Staazon ink and stamped on our watercolor paper. Next we colored the outside of each flower petal with markers (Rose Red & Not Quite Navy). Then a blender pen was used to 'pull' color from the marker lines to the center of the...
Here is what we made at my Card Clubs in February. I really like the Elementary Elegance stamp set (that you can get FREE during Sale a Bration!). Because it works with our Curly Label punch it adds that extra fun element to punch up your cards. I made one in Pretty in Pink and the other in So Saffron - they were able to chose their favorite at Club. We stamped the frame using Basic Gray ink and then...
Did you know that all of the Blendabilities markers are now available? They had production issues for a bit so some of them were unavailable for a few months but now it's all good! So if you've been waiting to order them, the wait is over! Look what I made for my Blendabilities classes this weekend: I have one spot left on Saturday's mornings' class if you would like to come. I also plan to post a video for some...

At my last team meeting we did a 3d swap in addition to our usual card swap. I wanted to do something with our new Scalloped Tulle ribbon in the Holiday mini catalog. So when I saw what Patty Bennet created with it I knew I had a winner. I used our new Sticky Rounds to adhere everything onto. I folded it in half lengthwise. Just press and pleat as you go around like this: I went around twice moving...

This month's class to go features the Flowering Flourishes stamp set. Aren't the images beautiful! I love using flourishes on cards - I find them very versatile. Here are three of the five cards in the Class to Go cards kit: One of my favorite new color combinations - Raspberry Ripple, Gumball Green and Pretty in Pink. A diagonal pocket card using this stamp set along with the Floral District designer series paper. Colors here are Baja Breeze, Daffodil Delight...
I was so happy to see this background stamp in the new catalog! It was on my first order since poppies are one of my very favorite flowers. I enjoyed coloring these flowers quite a bit and I usually do not like to color much. They are small and it's easy to shade and add highlights. I used Calypso Coral, Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and So Saffron ink with my blender pen. Plus my Celery Marker for the stems. Supplies:...

It's genius how these images flutter when you pull the card up! It looks like it would be extremely difficult too. But it's sure not! The You Move Me bundle is retiring on May 31st so if you like i
We made this card last weekend at class. I'm loving this new 'Big On You' stamp set. I cut the Strawberry Slush card stock at 5 1/2" X 8 1/2" and scored it at 2 1/8" and 4 1/4" so the front panel folds back on itself. The pretty Stacked with Love patterned paper on that front panel is 5 1/4" X slightly less than 2" wide. We stamped the greeting on the Pink Pirouette card stock using Black Memento...
I dreamed of doing this fun accordion fold with the Heart Doilies in my sleep. I rarely do that! Do you? I shared how in this week's Facebook Live yesterday. My FB Live's are usually on Tuesdays at 11 am but I was out of town so switched to Wednesday this week. It's so simple! And you could do this with many of our dies too! Click below to see it. I also traced the flap of my envelope onto...
This month's Class to Go is a fantastic duo I've been using a lot. This cute stamp set & punch seems to fit the bill frequently for me. Check out three of the five cards included in this Class to Go: A beautiful card in Crisp Cantaloupe. I cased the layout from my friend Susie Wood. So pretty! I love this idea of using a framelit as a topper on a card like this. It's a little dark in the...
I shared this beautiful card in last week's Live video. We also made it at my local Card Clubs as well. There are so many fabulous projects and features on this pretty card front I'll list them here: The colors are Fresh Freesia with Boho Blue & White. The Fresh Freesia layer is first cut with the Perennial Postage dies before texturing. The beautiful texture is from the Layering Floral 3D embossing folder seen here. I cannot recommend this folder...
This is a punch bundle I am sorry to see leave. It's quite a large flower that can really make your project! If you own this set here are some ideas for you. Look closely at the flowers; each one here is different because the set has 6 images. Here I used Pool Party with Black and White; sponging the edges of the punched flowers. I used the Pansy punch and a retired punch pack for the little flower. The...
One of our most unique kits lately is the Happy Houseplant kit. It includes 4 frames with everything you need to create adorable home decor! It's in our Kit Collection seen here and is all inclusive. That means it includes everything you need to create the 4 pieces of framed art all for just $25. They're 7" square when finished. I think they're perfect to place in a hall, bathroom or a guest room. Maybe near a real plant as...
I had no idea I'd love this bundle as much as I do. It's really very easy to create with! The large corner image and coordinating die fills in a good portion of your card so all you need to do is ad

Punch art and flowers - it's a perfect combination! Can you guess which three punches these tulips are made from?? Yes - it takes three punches just to make the flower part. And one punch for the stems. The tulip is made with the Owl Punch, the extra large 1 3/4" X 7/8" oval and the 1 3/8" X 5/8" large oval punches. Here's how: Punch one owl - it doesn't even have to be a whole piece. You really...

She also used the Painted Texture embossing folder on her White layer. Next is a card made by Mary. She used the Framed Occasions stamp set...
