About The Artwork In my artworks I focus on contemporary expressionistic figurative painting. I like to immerse myself in inner world of my characters, full of passion and tension. I use vivid colors, dynamic composition and contrast between textured and flat-colored surfaces to convey this inner state and bring it to the viewer. In this series of paintings the interactions between the characters a choreographic in some way. It is something between dancing, falling and flying together. Either way, it is a passionate interaction between people, affected by a single powerful force – be it music, wind or gravity. To emphasize the influence of the environment I let the color of the ambiance influence the color of figures. Encounter the vibrant essence of a Highland summer with this exquisite print, capturing the untamed beauty of Glenfinnan. Bold strokes and an explosion of colour echo the Fauvist masters, with an array of vivid tones that instil a sense of wildness and freedom. This piece frames a serene loch nestled within a cradle of rolling hills and imposing mountains. The lush greenery of the Scottish landscape is presented in a spectrum of rich, luscious greens, contrasted by the fiery oranges and radiant yellows of a foreground tree in full summer bloom. Sweeping blues and purples enliven the majestic mountains, while the water's surface reflects a dance of colour, hinting at the dynamic play of light on water. Fluffy clouds in soft whites and pinks drift across a sky rendered in hues of calming blues, adding a tranquil overture to the scene. The colours are not just seen; they are felt, drawing the observer into a landscape that is at once familiar and dreamlike. This alluring representation of Glenfinnan is more than mere wall art; it is an invitation to a sensory experience, a chance to gaze upon a highland mirage where nature's palette is unrestrained. It celebrates the raw, natural beauty of Scotland's summer, making it a perfect centrepiece for any room where the aim is to captivate and inspire.
