Original painted French Louis Philippe Boudoir window seat. This is a delightful Piece of Louis Philippe furniture, it has high scroll arms on either end with turned rails and it is set on cabriole legs and is shaped at the front and back. The seat is upholstered in linen, the arms legs and the apron at the front have carved mouldings, these are in a gilt finish on the olive green/grey paint, this is in good condition and the stool is sturdy though the old paint has developed a shabby look. The stool is 26” high to the top of the arm rests, 26” long x 18” deep and the seat height is 19” high. less
