Natasha called me on a Wednesday needing headshots on the fly - so we met on Thursday at noon and I delivered the images just after midnight! I was so glad to be able to photograph one of my favorite dancers once again!
A fellow dancer, Alex, has always been the first one to collaborate with me, no matter what odd or eccentric shoots I put on the table. So, to officially announce, she is part of my first series, "because.we.dance" that gives light to why dancers are so passionate about their craft. I am about halfway finished with the series, then, looking forward to showcasing my work in Oklahoma City. We stopped at Evoke and may have distracted the fellow brunch-ers. Nevertheless, she is always a treasure to work with. I am proud to say she just accepted a position at Delta, and will be based in NYC to pursue dance!

Meg is officially a married woman - and I am thrilled to show off this gorgeous bridal session at Dominion House in Guthrie, Oklahoma! Meg is a reading teacher and completing her Master's program at Oklahoma University. So, when we found a reaching statue, we had to stop for a couple of extra portraits! Congrats!!!
One one the wonderful honors I have in my career is photographing dancers in motion - and this year I had the pleasure of capturing Hui Cha Poos, Amy Renolds-Reed, and Kellie St. Pierre. I also snuck in a self-portrait during the workshop! I love the beauty in the chaos of developing new talents, the messy movements, the clean lines, and the massive amount of talent in passion in one room. It really drives a person to continue self-improvement, work harder, and learn from past mistakes. Man, I really love what I do!

Benny and Jillian are engaged! He proposed at the Lake Hefer Lighthouse since they had their first date at Mama Roja's nearby. They are wildly happy and I'm so glad I could capture this moment for them!

I've been lucky to know Chelsea since our Stillwater High School days, and I was thrilled when she told me John proposed! They met on match.com after Chelsea moved to Oklahoma City for her forensic scientist position. (John's an accountant - they are a smart pair!) They hit it off with their competitive love for music and just bought their first house together! Congratulations to an awesome couple, I can't wait to celebrate your wedding in 2018!

When Braxton & Cassie reached out to me to schedule their upcoming engagement session, it was a no-brainer for where we would go. I mean, what better location than the neighborhood of Cassie's childhood home and OSU's campus, where they both go to school?! I think my favorite part about this shoot was how excited they both were to be getting married to each other. It's such a joy to see two people, in love, and so excited about their future. And who doesn't love a few awesome laughing photos?! These two are getting married in December, and I cannot wait to capture their special day. Good luck on all the planning, and thanks for letting me be a part of this journey toward your happily ever after!

You know what I’m afraid of? Snakes, running out of coffee, and scary movies. You know what I’m NOT afraid of? PDA. In fact, I am all about it, especially when I’m photographing a gorgeous and super in-love couple like Dylan & Amber, who were constantly stealing kisses and wrapping themselves up in each other throughout our romantic sunset engagement session! Our shoot started at Auto Alley, and then we moved to Midtown to change things up a little bit. I love that I didn’t have to prompt them at all to lean in and get close, either. Can’t you feel that passion and heat through your screen? YOWZA! I asked these two about their love story, and Amber told me they've been together since high school at Edmond Memorial. They're both now working on completing their college degrees and working to be a doctor an an engineer. Hello power couple. And can we talk about the ring? DANG! Congratulations on your upcoming season, and your wedding next year! May you forever have a relationship filled with passion and love!

So often, I find amazing images that I share on social media posts and write sweet quotes, poems, or sayings to go with my images. These little captions help me share the emotional aspect of the image, as I had the pleasure to be there! I had a fun request to gather them and share for a bride's upcoming wedding, so here it is! When you have hundreds or thousands of images to share on social media, some times its nice to share a that turns the photograph into a story. I dreamed of a wedding of elaborate elegance, A church filled with family and friends. I asked him what kind of a wedding he wished for, He said one that would make me his wife.
