'Harbinger' is a concept by Andrew Mironov, https://www.artstation.com/andwhat who let me use it for a personal sculpt project. This guy was modelled entirely in Zbrush and polypainted for textures. I then posed it and rendered different passes in Zbrush too, which was surprisingly fun, quick and easy. Then I composited in Photoshop. It may be my simplest project in that it doesn't have proper topology or UVs and there's no PBR textures or shaders, but I'm really happy with it. It's my most recent work which means I had learned the most before tackling it and i feel like it best shows off my sculpting skills.
As its English names suggest, the Gatekeeper (also known as the Hedge Brown) is often encountered where clumps of flowers grow in gateways and along hedgerows and field edges. It is often seen together with the Meadow Brown and Ringlet, from which it is easily distinguished when basking or nectaring with open wings. The colour and patterning of the wings are very variable and about a dozen aberrations have been named. Favourite nectar sources include Wild Marjoram, Common Fleabane, ragworts, and Bramble.

Could I just ask one favour from you all, for all of those who have calibrated monitors does this look fine as I have just calibrated my screen after few years not having done it. Does it look balanced? Anyway, this was taken in an area of Bristol called Hotwells looking down the Avon Gorge and down the Avon River. The Clifton Suspension Bridge designed by the master engineer Brunel links Clifton and Leigh Woods on the other side. Since I knew that I was coming to Bristol I had to get this image and so glad the weather was so kind to me as usually its really rubbish and normally get no sunset. I also learnt a valuable lesson is to check one's camera gear before going out with camera as I wanted to take a long exposure of this scene with my LEE Big Stopper only to find my battery in my camera remote had run flat. I was a bit annoyed with myself but I preserved and this was the result. Another slight challenging aspect was the editing of the final image. I am normally so use to editing stations, tunnels and other urban scenes with artificial light, I had to edit it differently with the natural light given to me in order not to loose how the image originally looked when I was taking the image (hope that makes sense?) Anyway I have got a few more images coming up so will start to edit them in the next coming days. Photo Details Sony Alpha SLT-A77 Sony DT 16-50 F2.8 SSM SAL1650 RAW f/16 50mm ISO50 1.3s exposure Software Used Lightroom 5 Information The Clifton Suspension Bridge is a suspension bridge, which opened in 1864, spanning the Avon Gorge and the River Avon, linking Clifton in Bristol to Leigh Woods in North Somerset, England. Designed by Isambard Kingdom Brunel, the bridge is a grade I listed building and forms part of the B3129 road. The idea of building a bridge across the Avon Gorge originated in 1753. Original plans were for a stone bridge, and later iterations were for a wrought iron structure. In 1831, an attempt to build Brunel's design was stopped by the Bristol riots, and the revised version of his designs was built after his death and completed in 1864. Although similar in size, the bridge towers are not identical in design, the Clifton tower having side cut-outs, the Leigh tower more pointed arches atop a 110-foot (34 m) red sandstone clad abutment. Roller-mounted "saddles" at the top of each tower allow movement of the three independent wrought iron chains on each side when loads pass over the bridge. The bridge deck is suspended by 81 matching vertical wrought-iron rods. Two men were killed during the bridge's construction; since opening it has gained a reputation as a suicide bridge. It has plaques that advertise the telephone number of The Samaritans and above the railings on the bridge there are anti-climb barriers. The Clifton Bridge Company initially managed the bridge under licence from a charitable trust. The trust subsequently purchased the company shares, completing this in 1949 and took over the running of the bridge using the income from tolls to pay for maintenance. The bridge is a distinctive landmark, used as a symbol of Bristol on postcards, promotional materials, and informational web sites. It was also used as a backdrop to several films and television programmes. It has also been the venue for significant cultural events such as the first modern bungee jump in 1979, the last ever Concorde flight in 2003 and a handover of the Olympic Torch relay in 2012. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clifton_Suspension_Bridge
