George Harrison
Every songwriter needs a muse mews.
Photographer Henry Grossman gives "CBS This Morning: Saturday" a sneak peek at some of the images in his book, "Places I Remember: My Time with The Beatles"
The Beatles of the late sixties were not the same band of mop-topped musicians that had taken America by storm in 1964. By the time they officially called in quits in 1970 John, Paul, Ringo, and George had all separated themselves from the clean-cut look and crisp sound that defined the band's early

Who? Oh please. George Harrison, MBE (25 February 1943 – 29 November 2001) was an English rock guitarist, singer, songwriter, author and sitarist best known as the lead guitarist of The Beatles. Following the band's breakup, Harrison had a successful career as a solo artist and later as part of the Traveling Wilburys super group where he was known as both Nelson Wilbury and Spike Wilbury. He was also a film producer, with his production company Handmade Films, involving people as diverse as Madonna and the members of Monty Python. From an initial exposure whilst a member of the Beatles, he maintained a high public profile regarding his religious and spiritual life. We can't say with unbridled certainty that this is George's red smooth dachshund named 'Ozzy,' but that's the long and short of it all. Surely Mr. Harrison had a dachshund on his mind when he penned these lyrics to Here Come The Sun: Little darling, it's been a long cold lonely winter Little darling, it feels like years since it's been here Here comes the sun, here comes the sun and I say it's all right Happy Birthday Mr. Harrison, and find out more about George Harrison at wikipedia, or listen to him sing and play at youtube. Have a listen to a live George Harrison version of every dachshund's favorite song, the fantastic Here Comes the Sun, and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
George Harrison had comic chops. Any person who mortgages his house to fund a Monty Python film must know something about comedy.

You were going for a walk in the park one day, and you came across a very handsome young man, George. You talked for a little while, but he wasn't much to carry on a conversation. You noticed he wasn't the talkative type, and you liked that. You knew he would be too shy to ask you out, so you asked him. His face lit up in excitement when you did, and you dated for 8 years. He finally got the guts ...
