Very colourful fused glass ornament featuring summer flowers including 2 bumblebees, in its own wooden stand made by Boostar Wood. This will make a lovely gift or treat for yourself. I created the piece by layering two pieces of clear bullseye glass and using kiln enamel, glass stringers and crushed glass, known as frit, I formed the flowers including the bees. I fired twice in my electric kiln, once to strengthen the glass and set the frit and enamels, and second firing to set the second sprinkling of frit to give added texture. Once cool I placed the glass piece into the beautifully grained oak wood stand. Size: glass is 15cm high by 10cm wide and stand is 10cm long by 2cm high by 7cm deep I have tried to photograph as naturally as possible, but the colours may vary depending on the device viewed on. I use 2nd class Royal Mail for delivery and try to use recycled and recyclable packaging wherever possible.
