De stad Groningen: Gezicht op Vinkhuizen 1971
De skyline van de Palenberg bij de Hoornse Plas is voor vele Stadjers een bekend beeld. Tijdens de vele warme zomers zorgde de berg voor vrolijke speelmomenten tussen het zwemmen door. Op deze foto, genomen door Frank Straatemeier op 4 augustus 1977, was dit allemaal nog erg nieuw, want de plas en de Palenberg werd in 1973 geopend. 29 jaar later weggehaald door gemeente Groningen 📸 Frank Straatemeier, Groninger Archieven
