Immerse yourself in the vivid and swirling hues of the Scottish boglands with this enchanting print, inspired by the unique sundews found in the Flow Country of Caithness and Sutherland. Exhibiting an abstract portrayal of the landscape, this piece captures the essence of a natural habitat through bold colours and dreamlike abstraction. The prominent use of warm yellows and oranges juxtaposed with splashes of cooler blues and greens creates an almost ethereal terrain. Reddish, spindly representations of sundews rise towards the pale circular motif that suggests a glowing sun or moon, casting a soft light across the horizon. The dynamic dappling of colour conjures images of peat bogs spotted with vegetation and pools of still water reflecting the ever-changing Scottish sky. Crafted with a weave of natural and surreal elements, each stroke conveys the wild spirit of the Highlands. The abstract forms and splatters work together to encapsulate the mystery and beauty of the untamed flora. This print, a celebration of Scottish Flowers and Flora, is more than just a depiction of scenery; it's a homage to the soft, almost magical quality of the Northern landscapes. It embodies the dualism of nature's tranquillity and its vibrant life force, making it a captivating addition to any collection. Whether as a focal point or a complementary piece, this print promises to transport its admirers to the serene yet spirited heart of Scotland’s wilderness.

The Shokin-tei is a thatched-roof tea house, and is one of the best spots at Katsura Rikyu to view the garden. Three of its sides face the pond, and it's location allows for viewers to experience warm sun in winter and cool breeze in the summer. Katsura Rikyu, located along the Katsura-gawa, is one of three imperial villas in Kyoto along with Sento Gosho and Shugakuin. This 56,000 square meter complex was completed around 1658. Designed by Prince Toshihito of the Hachijonomiya family, and heavily influenced by Kobori Enshu, the layout and gardens of Katsura Rikyu are widely regarded as some of the finest examples of architecture and garden in Japan.
