Wallenpaupack Brewing Co. in Hawley, Pennsylvania has announced that three of its beers: Hawley Hefeweizen, For the Love of Lager: Japanese Rice Lager and Paupack Cream Ale each won gold in their respective category. Now, they will compete for the best in category against other beers around the world. The final winners will be announced August 25. Full details are below. August 11, 2022 - Hawley, Pennsylvania - Wallenpaupack Brewing Company, the award-winning craft brewery and brewpub located adjacent to Lake Wallenpaupack in the Poconos region of Pennsylvania, today announced it has earned three Gold awards at the World Beer Awards Competition. The World Beer Awards is one of the most internationally recognized and respected beer competitions in the world, and its seal is affixed to the bottles of some of the finest and sought-after beers. Following a two year hiatus, this year’s competition was held in-person in seven different locations around the world by an esteemed panel of judges.
