I love lions! I guess you might gather that from looking at my photostream. I really love them. BUT, I really love hyaena just as much! Why, you might ask. You might have seen "The Lion King", and you might have a very negative perception of hyaenas. ("The Lion King" surely did not do the hyaenas any favour, but it is so so not fair.) In fact, hyaenas are the real unsung heroes of the wild. They are brave, gentle, beautiful, interesting and and and.. But, once you have fallen in love with their wonderful call, there is no turning around. You will love them forever! That is where I am, I just love these guys! This image was captured in the wild in the Kruger National Park.
