- T h e O r i g i n a l P a n e l l i n g S t r i p S u p p l i e r s - Premium Grade, Moisture Resistant MDF (MRMDF) SIZE - 1200x90mm (120x9cm) (47.25"x3.5") The strips are first installed horizontally across your skirting. Once the adhesive has set, the strips are installed upright on top of the horizontal sections at your desired spacing. The distance between the uprights is a personal preference, and is also governed by your particular wall, but anywhere from 450-600mm usually works best. Finally, the strips can be installed horizontally across the top of the uprights to complete the panelled effect. To calculate the number of strips required, simply measure the wall, and divide this number by the length of the strip (1200mm). For example, if your wall was 4 meters wide, you would need 3 full strips (1200mm each) plus another strip which you would have to cut down to 400mm. You would need this twice (one set for the bottom, one for the top). The number of uprights is a personal preference, but a 4 meter wall would look great with around 6 uprights. For this example, the total number of strips required would be the pack of 13. We use a professional grade MRMDF that is used by joiners and cabinet makers, so the edges do not become "fluffy" when cut. Cheaper MDF usually produces these fluffy edges when cut, resulting in a poor finish when painted. Our MRMDF is also moisture resistant so can be used anywhere in the house, even where splashes and spills are likely to occur, such as the bathroom. - D e l i v e r y - We will post your order the same business day with DHL (if ordered before 1pm) on a next day delivery service.
