Unlock communication potential with these eye gaze communication boards, designed for AAC users with complex physical needs. Tailored for individuals with Rett Syndrome and other physical disabilities, these boards feature core vocabulary, empowering speech therapists and special educators in promoting language development and inclusion. Individuals with movement disabilities (including, but not limited to Rett Syndrome and severe spastic quadriplegia) may not be able to access an AAC system directly. Partner Assisted Scanning is a great alternative, but leaves the user less independent in their communication skills. That's when we explore the use of eye gaze responses. While eye gaze training often begins with the partner providing 2-3 visual choices, the goal is to move to access to more vocabulary. Eye gaze communication boards exist with complex systems for using the alphabet or a more robust vocabulary, but eye gaze learning can take time, and may have the need to start with less complexity; especially for our emerging communicators. Contents: 23 eye gaze picture communication boards; a set of 6-location picture communication boards for eye gaze users a set of 9 boards with 4 locations a set of 6 boards that represent the Universal 36 Core There are core word boards, a “something’s wrong” board a game topic board a t.v. watching topic board a book reading topic board. Prior to laminating, you might want to write the symbol's label on the back of the page in the appropriate spot, so you don't have to memorize every symbol's location on every page. After laminating, cut out the center spot, so that you can see the individual’s responses when seated across from them. Buyers have said: *This material saved me time making it on my own and is just what I needed gor my student learning how to use sn eye scan device. *THANK YOU FOR MAKING SUCH AN AMAZING PRODUCT! My students love this resource! They were engaged and had no trouble getting started. It was so easy for me to use in a time crunch. *My student just started using an eye gaze board. Most times language disorders cause problems in social behaviour, as poor eye contact, that can be trained in many different ways. We have created a model slide to help to say hello and good-bye. We play with the slides, one of us goes out of the room and plays that is arriving home and greets, or that is leaving the house and says good-bye It really works to change the images of the father and mother for real pictures. It might take a few days to make it work :) Hello Good-bye
