My personal street pictures from an ordinary day in Stockholm, Sweden.

I think our end goal was just legit prove and set in stone that we're not disposable.
You don't need to believe in the stars to really appreciate these zodiac illustrations by Emilee Petersmark. A band called The Accidentals approached her with this project in 2017, asking Emilee to create 12 posters based on the zodiac over the course of a year. She reimagined all of the signs as mythical goddesses, and the images are so good, people think she should create a tarot deck.
Beginning summer of 2014, shortly before my final exam to become a graphic designer, days seemed to become longer and harder to manage for me. The thought of not being enough, of being unable to manage life and even pass my final exam to become a graphic designer manifested in my head. I reached a point where I was unable to get up in the mornings.
Purpose and function are just a couple of words that cross our minds when we think about design. After all, professionals put in mountains of effort to create something clever, timeless, visually pleasing, and convenient for the user. So it feels almost like a given that they have good taste too, right? Well, apparently not! And there’s a whole online community dedicated to proving it.
A year ago, I came up with my Mag+Art project – a collection of magazine cover and classical painting mash-ups. My Tumblog became a bit popular and gained some followers. One of my followers requested me to try combining album cover art (instead of magazines) and classical paintings. It’s more difficult but I gave it a try.I took the chance to make a series of digital collages featuring the studio album covers of some popular singers today. I used these album covers because they are simpler and straightforward. I think (the principles of) photography is the same as classical painting. Portraiture using cameras adopted the same set of rules and techniques in painting.
Chef Tim Love believes it’s about time we enjoyed a smartphone-free dinner, yet a complete ban on smartphones in his new Italian restaurant has left people divided.
To protect our loved ones from COVID-19, especially those who are in the risk group, we are forced to keep a distance from them. This means that we cannot even visit them for a brief minute and must refrain from hugs and kisses. However, we all know that nothing feels better than a hug from […]
My doodles started out as a way to exercise my ‘creative muscle.’ I’d always felt like a relatively creative person but never had the courage to put myself out there and let my creativity shine through until I started this account. I’ve been at my doodles now for over 7 months and kind of can’t get enough.
A first-time mom, Krinzal captures amazing moments with her baby Shanaaya as her muse creating sets using common household stuff and clicks photographs which are 'WOW'.
As Game of Thrones fans recover from the 'The Long Night' at the Battle of Winterfell and prepare for the "the last war" - Bored Panda offers viewers some behind-the-scenes photos of how the icy magic is made. Intricate make-up, prosthetics, props, and green screens are all part of the grueling off-screen process that comes together for the epic cinematic sequences we have come to expect from this TV show.
I remember the first time I ever heard about Youtube. I was sitting in my 3rd grade computer class and one mischievous student decided to search Youtube on his computer (the website was still so new that schools were not yet savvy enough to block it). Little did I know when I watched that strange cartoon video of animals singing The Lion Sleeps Tonight that almost two decades later, half of the fun of using Youtube would become getting to read the comments. I don’t know how they do it, but some people really channel their inner stand-up comedians when responding to Youtube videos, so in honor of those individuals, our hardworking team at Bored Panda combed through the site to find the best comments that might be even funnier than the videos they’re responding to. Be sure to upvote all of your favorite pics, and then if you’re looking for even more hilarious Youtube comments, check out our last post on the same topic right here.
In 1908 Lewis Hine picked up his camera and became the photographer for the National Child Labor Committee. It was a start of a long decade, as Lewis traveled across the country, documenting child labor, getting constant threats from factory owners as the immorality of employment laws was supposed to be kept away from the public's eye. However, Hine persisted, adopting many different disguises (such as a fire inspector or a bible salesman) to snap these old photos of the labor laws violations and interview the children working at factories or in the streets.
Hello everyone! I'm Anna - known as oso polar - and I keep on making new dolls every day.
My name is Adrian Müller and I'm a German artist who customizes and transforms toys and collectibles into handmade works of art. I created the world's first freestanding full body skeleton in Funko Pop dimensions in early 2018. It's also the most detailed skeleton of its kind.
"My team had a meeting and decided if we're losing our PTO, we're using our PTO. We sent a mail to our manager stating the same, including a list of things she needs to do since we're off."
We all know that dogs are highly loveable creatures - how else could they've conquered us as the human race to love them, feed them, and take them on adventures. And while our adorable four-legged pals achieve all this primarily by being irresistibly cute, they won't have gotten this far without some sort of intelligence set in their snack-oriented craniums. And though you might think that YOUR dog is the brainiest, there's a science-proven list of the smartest dog breeds. So, let's see what makes a breed intelligent and how it is evaluated.
Eyes are windows of the soul: a phrase that perfectly reflects what we feel when our gaze plunges into another. The french photographer Réhahn is one of the most skilled when it comes to capture the emotion of these moments Rehahn appeals to our intuition and imagination and manages to touch our sensibility. We should stop on each image to read the thoughts of the subject photographed through his or her eyes.
Meet Nephi Garcia - a 32-year-old California-based designer daddy who makes the most amazing Disney-inspired costumes for his kids!
If you think that Halloween’s only for humans, you might just be mistaken. It looks like it’s not just us who sometimes enjoy dressing up as spooky and spoopy characters, going trick-or-treating, and impressing the neighbors with fabulous costumes. Some of our pets seem to love wearing their Halloween costumes, too, and their owners can’t help but share photos of them online!
My name is Anthony Presley, and I am a photographer and filmmaker. When I went to Japan for the first time, I was in complete awe of the beauty. I’ve wanted to go to Japan ever since I was a child. Its culture, nature, and architecture – I always thought those were absolutely beautiful.
It’s no secret that Americans are considered patriotic. There’s huge pride in the country for everything American, from a love of football and baseball to the celebration of freedom. Waving flags, singing the national anthem, and honoring veterans are all second nature. So it’s no surprise Americans have a special place in their hearts for Independence Day!
None of the children in these pictures were ever seen again; they were too terrified to come back to the mall lest they run into a creepy bunny again!
Welcome to Factopedia, the educational page on Instagram for those who're thirsty for knowledge.
According to the World Health Organization, the environment where we live determines almost 24% of our health status. No wonder adults living in and children growing up in urban settings are increasingly exposed to high levels of air and noise pollution, tend to have less contact with nature, have poorer nutrition and even lack physical activity.
Reddit user addressed people online by asking them if she was right for asking her fiancé to keep his word and help her mother in times of need when she helped his mother when she was in trouble.
For a long time, creativity has been a significant aspect of my life. I have now created a collection of bags, which I have named "Bags for Girls from 5 to 100 Years Old".
The 1970s are often associated with Vietnam and Watergate, but there was also plenty of glamor between the wild fashion, TV stars like Farrah Fawcett, and the disco era.
Jade Nordhal, a mom of two, has gained a cult following for her ironic drawings on Instagram because she knows all too well what parenting is all about.
Mou Aysha isn't a professional photographer in the true sense of the word, meaning it's more of a passion to her rather than a job. However, this isn't a blemish on her ability to capture beauty in her portraits. Mou, who lives in Dhaka, Bangladesh, has a keen eye for very sensitive, emotional, even soulful, moments, and her every picture is a testament to that. Her 53k followers are a testament to that too.
A few years ago, I might've called my hobby of going through before-and-after power washing pics my guilty pleasure. But now? Not so much. I need a more accurate term; this seemingly mundane activity has become the king of the 'oddly satisfying' genre. A sort of internet culture mainstream, if you will.
We all know that makeup can do wonders. But there are not so many people who can make true masterpieces with it. Jazmina Daniel is a makeup artist loved by Instagram's beauty community due to her amazing lip art.
Artists have re-interpreted the iconic image of Hello Kitty and her friends in their own aesthetic through a wide variety of mediums.
Now I don’t know what to think.
Cats… they’re everywhere. You see them following you on the streets. You see them staring back at you from your computer screen. You even see them when you look at other animals and random things.
If you still hold on to pure and beautiful memories of your favorite cartoon characters, prepare yourself for a rollercoaster of emotions after you see this multitalented tattooist and artist transforming famous characters to creepy monsters.
If you happen to be behind on your rent, the best thing to do is to pay up and don’t make any waves in the parking lot.
For over fifty years photographer Charles H. Traub has been capturing expressive moments around him, but his most impressive works have to be the ones from the 80s, when he first traveled to Italy and witnessed the iconic street life Italians call 'La Dolce Vita.'
Just in case you ever needed a reminder that our planet is a stunningly beautiful place, the fifth annual Landscape Photographer of the Year competition winners have been announced, and they don't disappoint.
The r/madlads subreddit is full of people doing mundane things and celebrating it like party animals… even though others see it as being over-the-top reactions and nobody asked them to make such power moves.
Warning, moderate spoilers ahead. Ok, now that we've got that out of our way, it's time to celebrate the coming of winter with some Game Of Thrones. After the finale of the season 7 became history, I turned towards fan fiction to fill the void it has left. Turns out, one Instagram account is dedicated to pairing viral tweets, tumblr posts, and random bits of sitcom dialogues with stills from Game Of Thrones, and the result often comes out way funnier than the original scenes. Assuming you're caught up with the show and know what the heck is going on in Westeros, of course.
Self-taught sculptor Katie Marks has been handcrafting coffee mugs which instead of dangling over your kitchen sink, could easily be placed in the middle of an art gallery.
