"I just remember between takes, I was sitting on a rock, heaving, when JJ came over and told me that between every take on Mission Impossible III, Tom Cruise would jump up getting himself psyched up...
I will never get over how hot this picture is. Never.
I mean ….?!?!??!
You might be familiar with this picture of Sir Ian McKellen, sporting a rather fetching red t-shirt with block lettering. You might not (and then again you might) be familiar with the fact that it's a fake. McKellen was actually sporting a shirt that said "Some People Are Gay. Get Over It," the slogan of Stonewall, a UK based Gay rights organization; not "I'm Gandalf and Magneto. Get Over It." When the nerdy photoshopped version hit the internet in 2010 it went viral pretty quickly, despite attempts by many involved to remind people that it was a fake. It seemed the internet was pretty enamored of the idea of an actor brushing the world off with their ability to knit different geek properties together. And so are we. In that feeling, we present sixteen actors and actresses who can claim to have two, or three, or more major fandom characters under their belts.
I was so angry when my mom died. Not for my own loss, as difficult as that was to process, but because I felt like she’d been ripped off. I’d watched her health deteriorate over the course of what seemed like my entire life, to the point that in her final years even getting around her apartment beca
Previously on Lost Girl: Bo didn’t want to bone anyone because eventually she will lose everyone. But then she got over it. Which is good because a succubus needs sex to feed. Also, sex is awesome. Well, looks like Bo super got over her dry spell because someone is making with the merriment under her …

The heatwave continues. As does the stash busting. Using up small amounts of 4ply yarn to make a couple of Little Sister's Dresses. And some purple aran to make a Baby Sophisticate cardigan. And, I have cast on a blanket (reverse pinwheel). Which I actually brought yarn for. To try to justify buying yarn, well it was on offer... Knitting blankets in this heat summer seems like a perfectly reasonable thing to do! Although I have some way to go before this blanket is covering my lap. I've just realised when uploading these photos that I seem to be having a purple knitting phase, this is not necessarily intentional! In between the knitting, I also cycled up to Loch Lomond to have a very well deserved ice-cream. Where this black headed gull (that really has a chocolate coloured head) very kindly posed for me.
