Auguste Toulmouche’s 1866 painting “The Hesitant Fiancée” is making the rounds on TikTok FYPs across the globe, inviting women of all ages to not only marvel at and meme-ify the bride’s pissed off scowl, but see themselves in it, too.
A hand selected mystery box in a light academia aesthetic with a vintage vibe. Feel romantic about mathematics? Swoon at the idea of going on an archeology dig? Love the smell of libraries, the tedious task of inking up your fountain pens, or just getting studious tucked away in the corner of a favorite coffee shop? Me too. With a focus on high quality and natural fabrics, vintage and well made modern pieces, all sustainably sourced, I aim to provide clothing and accessories in these boxes that will showcase your love for the arts and higher learning. Please use the personalization section, and feel free to send me additional messages if desired, to tell me anything you think is vital to know about you so I can build you a box you'll love. Wondering what's included? Be enlightened: 3 item Bundle- 2 tops, 1 bottom 5 item Bundle- 2 tops, 2 bottoms, 1 small accessory (tie, scarf, jewelry, etc...) 7 item Bundle- 3 tops, 2 bottoms, 1 small accessory, 1 large accessory (shoes, bag, etc...) *if a dress is included, it may substitute for either a top or bottom. Please note, photos are examples of pieces and styles you may receive, not actual items. I will hand pick the items for you based on the information you provide me. Items will be sustainably sourced, may be second hand, vintage, or modern pieces that fit the aesthetic, and in some instances may be new with tags. Items will not be fast fashion brands, poorly made, or show excessive wear. I prefer to include natural fabrics or natural fabric blends, but good condition, quality man made materials will also be included.

These illustrations are from a FIRST EDITION of the classic A Child's Garden of Verses, illustrated by the wonderful Jessie Wilcox Smith. These illustrations are reproduced quite a bit--but they are never as fresh as when scanned directly from a first edition, which I own. The difference is obvious. Perfect to frame and hang on the wall as adorable vintage style wall art. Or use in scrapbooking, tags, greeting cards, etc., etc. This color illustration measures approximately 4.573" x 7". You are purchasing an incredibly sharp, clear, digital image scanned at a high resolution, 300dpi in jpg form. Once payment is received, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO DOWNLOAD YOUR IMAGES INSTANTLY. Our images can fit on 8.5 x 11 paper. **THE ANNOYING WATERMARK WILL NOT APPEAR ON YOUR DOWNLOAD** What fabulous things can you create? Announcements, Invitations, and place cards, (think wedding, engagements, baby!) The Fine Print (No pun intended) Do's Do make fantastico art with our digital delights! Don'ts Do not use our images in digital collage sheets, resell them, reproduce them in a compilation cd for resale, or share them with buddies. We and our little elves work tirelessly to ferret out special pieces of paper ephemera, which we then scan and restore to perfection for the discerning creative customer. Taking our work and reselling or redistributing is not only bad form, it angers our little pals. And you don't want to make an elf mad! So please refrain from practices that you would not want done to your artwork. Thank you!
Vintage Postcard, 1976 Ottobeuren, Bavaria (Bayern) Note: recently, I have been finding this photo all over the blogosphere. While I don't mind it being used, I would really appreciate it if when clicked on, it comes back here to Flickr. Today, I found it being used all by itself on someone's blog, with no track-back. Obviously, it would be considerate if people asked permission first.

In 1947, ex American GI Ernest Kreiling, toured the battlefields of Europe with his bride by bike. A nice set of 50 vintage product labels for flour in individual JPG format. Some of the labels have an authentic cloth texture. I have digitally restored these images using advanced cutting-edge A.I. (Artificial Intelligence) machine learning algorithms resulting in very crisp and clear images beyond what most vintage image restorers are capable of producing. The images are high resolution 300 dpi and are 6 inches wide. There are some imperfections due to their old age which adds a nice vintage look to them. You will receive 5 zipped folders containing the 50 individual images. PLEASE NOTE: This is a digital product so no physical items will be shipped. You will need to print the files yourself. You will need appropriate software to use JPG files. As soon as you complete your purchase the files will be available for you to download from ETSY. These files can be used for COMMERCIAL PURPOSES as long as they are a part of a finished item like an invitation, shirt, graphic etc. You MAY NOT sell, share or upload the actual files to any file sharing site.
Since so many of my customers want a peek inside my home, I thought I would start to share some pics of my favorite things around my house! Knock Knock - come on in! I love my door knocker with it's aged patina! Welcome! I think having a basket of slippers for guest to slip on is a great way to welcome them! These are easy to wash once worn! I don't have a home phone, only a cell, but I couldn't leave my phone nook empty! I had a hard time finding a small rug in the color I needed so I made one myself. I painted these diamonds on the back of a piece of linoleum and put a protective clear finish over it! So easy and inexpensive to make!! I have tons more pics to share. Hope you had a great weekend! XO Traci
