Introducing "Imbolc Celtic Spring" Watercolor Collection! The Wheel of the Year has turned and it's time to celebrate Imbolc. This is an ancient Gaelic traditional festival of the winter end and the beginning of spring, also called Saint Brigid's Day. Historically, its traditions were widely observed throughout Ireland, Scotland and the Isle of Man. It is one of the four Gaelic seasonal festivals—along with Beltane, Lughnasadh and Samhain. This hand-painted watercolor collection consists of 131 amazing items drawn in pastel blue-silver shades: Illustrations, landscapes, textures, highlighters, magic overlays, seamless patterns, compositions and wreaths. Here you will find everything you need for this holiday: delicate primroses (anemones, muscari and snowdrops), crystals, altar figurines of the goddess, portrait of a witch (with different hair colors and ritual objects in her hands), animals-symbols (lambs and white bull), foggy and fantasy landscapes, branches and wreaths from it, print-ready abstract textures, fairy lights overlays, burning candles, watercolor highlighters (spots, blots, stripes, circles) and more. A seed is a seed. But that does not remain. It must grow to become complete, what it was designed to be. Within its make up lies the blueprint of potential and possibility. A dormant seed does not grow, but it could. I had grown so comfortable in my complacency. The dark soil was enough. I had no need for roots to seek nourishment, certainly no need for a leaf to feel warmth. No. Inactive sleep was enough. But in the deep earth a familiar dream shimmered. This was not all there was. You reawaked in me a desire for life, gave me a restless agitation with this hollow deep stillness. I wished to live, to grow, to mature. The fear of the seed is that in order to develop, its present state will be shed, it in essence will die but in return it will flourish in life. John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die. Do you believe this?” Philippians 1:6 And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ. my boyfriend is the best ever, he dug this hole out for me for the photo! facebook
