(1924) (2021) Here we see the entrance, now disused, of Angel station on the corner of City Road and Torrens Street. The station was opened by the City and South London Railway (CSLR) on 17th November 1901. Today it is on the Bank branch of the Northern line. This entrance was closed after a new entrance opened around the corner on Islington High Street in 1992 after the station was rebuilt. » Then and Now: Localities » Then and Now: Film and Television
