Comfort food! Someone asked for an American dish for the Itaki, so I made beef stew and cornbread! My dad loved beef stew and for me cornbread goes really well with it so here goes! Disclaimer: I used the Itaki Jumbo since my son and I wanted flan again! 😊 The second tier, medium bowl,…
Advanced Happy Father’s day to all the dads out there! 🎉🎊 I was going to post this tomorrow morning for the actual Father’s day but decided to post it today so you can chill the cheesecake overnight and have it ready to go if you decide to make it. My father encouraged all my many…
I didn’t realize that a lot of people have this Electric Lunchbox. It was an impulse purchase for me because it was so cute! I mean, just look at it! 😍 One thing I know is that it took a little trial and error for me to be comfortable using it. The instructions included were…
I always have this big can of Nesquick Strawberry mix as my son loves it mixed in his morning mug of milk. I started buying it when I was pregnant, as I didn’t like chocolate then, so was happy to see they offered it in strawberry flavor! It was the only way i could drink…
Another cheesecake recipe! Can you tell it’s one of my favorite desserts? 😊 The fact that it comes together rather quickly with just a few ingredients that I always have, “bakes” in the Electric Lunchbox, and is ready within about an hour, makes it ever present in my dessert rotation. So today, I am making…

Apple. Rum. Cake. Apples were on sale this past few weeks so I had bought my fair share. Actually MORE than my fair share that I had to dehydrate some to save them from going bad. So I thought about making apple torte (https://atomic-temporary-164073618.wpcomstaging.com/2020/11/27/apple-cream-torte/). But then someone mentioned apple cake with rum...so off to testing…

Buttery toasted bread, thinly sliced beef, mushrooms, provolone cheese...... I only had Philly Cheesesteak a few times, but I remember how good it tasted. Today’s recipe came about because my son remembered the sandwich we had in Las Vegas several months ago. With travel not recommended right now, I had to try making it at…
I love potato dishes in every form! And this Scalloped Potatoes, that is safe to take to work and then cooked, is something I had been working on. Cream and milk would need refrigeration so I dropped those. Cheese and butter can sit a little at room temperature better than cream and milk so those…
Cool weather means chili, stews, corn bread, oyster crackers, casseroles, and all sorts of comfort food to me! So I just had to try making them in the ELB! Of course, I will be posting them here as I get it right. I hope you try them out as the weather changes, to keep your…
