This extraordinary estate is now a 5-star hotel and golf club. The house was built in the 14th century and has 48 rooms and 365 acres (1.5 km2) of gardens. The grounds' Italian, Classical and medieval Gothic styled gardens and summerhouse were added in the mid-19th century and are still maintained today.
