Fold-down back-drop of the Star of David. Heavy Cast Brass construction. Measures 14" wide, 10" front to back, and 11 1/2" high with the back in up-position. The base measures 9 x 10 3/4". My parents bought this menorah on their honeymoon in Israel, summer 1961. It was made by a person or company named Dayagi. The Hebrew writing reads: "These lights are sacred," part of the brief liturgy that we read each night of Hanukkah when we light the Hanukkah lights.
