Terrific pop up Christmas card ideas and images.
Quest’anno l’abbiamo passata in famiglia, solo Dani, i Pispoli e io. Abbiamo mangiato un […] Read more...

Hi Everyone. On behalf of all of the Paper Players, I want to thank you for playing along with our challenges this year. We have greatly enjoyed visiting your fabulous submissions and cannot wait to see you again in the New Year. It was wonderful to see the gold, silver and white creations you all made this week - and the choice for winners was, as always, difficult. The design team selected a wonderful cross-section of designs for their Cut Above Choices. Before we get to my choice for Headliner, let's see what caught the eye of the design team. And the Design Team selections for A Cut Above are.... 1. Nance's choice: Mary's elegant candle card is a beautiful blend of our colors & I love the pines 2. Claire's Choice: Nicole's beautiful silver/gold carousel took me back to days gone by! Congrats! 3. Joanne's Choice: Valerie's sparkly gold starburst makes an eyecatching focal point on her CAS card. 4. Colleen's Choice: Tenia's sweet mouse card is too fun! Love the bkg, banner & sequin. SO CUTE! 5. LeAnne's Choice: Jan's sweet little wreath is so cleverly created! Fab way to use the colors! 6. Hannelie:I love the way Rosina used washi tape to showcase the fantastic star focal point.Great job! And now, for our Headliner: Wendy Cartai I fell in love with Wendy's gorgeous sparkly card. The Christmas tree with the stars is just perfect - especially with the cut outs on the diamond and the simple stars scattered around the card. It's an explosion of festive joy - and is CAS perfection. Congratulations, Wendy. You are our final HEADLINER of the year. Thank you again to everyone for playing along with us! Congratulations to all our winners, please pick up your badges here. We hope you will join us for our first challenge of 2017 on January 8th!

I have a Christmas card to share today, made with a SSS Gnome die and some traditional red and green colors. I embossed the snowy background with a SU! ef, then created the hill using a Lawn Fawn stitched hill set pf dies, and then tucked the gnome behind the hill. The sentiment is from a SSS stamp set, and the snowflake was done with a Martha Stewart punch, adding a silver glitter sticker to the center. I'll share this with the following challenges: August Rudolph Days Challenge - always Christmas Repeat Impressions Challenge A2620 - anything goes Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - anything goes Thanks as always for stopping by. I appreciate your taking time to visit and leave a comment and thank you for your patience as I don't post as often as I once did. Have a fabulous Friday! Carol
Det är roligt med kort som har en annorlunda form än den traditionella rektangulära. Här är ett dubbelvikt kort i form av en stjärna. På insidan kan du sätta ett mönstrat papper, eller ett papper i…
Well, that sneaked up on me! What a shock to realise that I have forgotten to sort out my post for the last Rudolf days of 2015! It was only when Sensei said there was only a month to Christmas that I twigged! I have been a bit busy doing work related stuff this week and will be next week too, so I'd better get it sorted now! First are a couple of cards using a technique I saw Deby from Inkylicious demo at Doncaster in October. It involves dusting Kraft card with Memento Luxe white ink through a stencil. All stamps and stencils are from Inkylicious. Deby has a new blog up and running and you can find it here. There are step by step instructions on there for this technique. Next are some cards I made using Be creative Alcohol based markers. The first uses a woodware stamp... The second was a freebie digi from Cuddly Buddly many moons ago, backed on Be Creative Winterland papers... The third is another made with Teri Sherman's wonderful holly and rosehip wreath from Delicious Doodles. The fourth is non-traditional colours, another of Teri's images, and a background made with another woodware stamp and Be creative glitter glue Do pop over to Scrappy Mo's and take a look at the fabulous Christmas creations and join in if you can. Thanks, Mo for a fabulous year of getting me organised with my Christmas cards! Thanks for looking!

Good morning Lovelies! What beautiful weather over the weekend for us! Cold but sunny and dry, just how I like it! Well we had a new front door fitted yesterday (Sunday) and the idiot cut our phone line off! So we have no landline or internet, I've managed to tap into a very shaky wifi hotspot but not sure how long for? Hopefully we will be back online today? So while I had no internet yesterday I had a play with my Christmas Jofy stamps, oh how I love Jofy! I stamped some of my images onto music sheet and text paper and cut bits out and paper pieced just to create some interest, with the use of some distress inks, sequin waste and masks to create some interesting backgrounds I think I've made some quite funky looking cards? I hope you like them? Posted with Blogsy
