Just add this listing to your order: https://goo.gl/nzq8VW Painted as an expression of love, the Classic Love Tree Ketubah describes the foundation for a fruitful, elegant and fulfilling relationship. In Judaism, The Tree of Life (Etz haChayim עץ החיים) is a mystical symbol used in Kabbalah to describe the path to HaShem. Inspired by this concept, I depicted a couple in love, their bodies blending into one, intertwined with the roots of the strong, elegant tree -- a symbol of their relationship, their connection, their love and passion for each other and the journey on which they are setting forth together. This is a museum-quality, archival Giclee print in ultrachrome, non-fading inks on Somerset Velvet, which is a very high quality watercolor paper and comes in four sizes. This ketubah is designed in the format of a talmud page, with the text of the ketubah in the center, and the different commentary sections filled out with Hebrew and Yiddish texts chosen by the couple: Yedid Nefesh, the 8th chapter of Song of Songs, texts from the tractates Bava Metzia, Kidushin, and Ketubot, Genesis 24:37-47, the Seven Blessings around the outside of the text block, in "note" form, and a Yiddish poem by Mani Leib, "A Floym," in the lower right corner in cursive Hebrew script. The couple's initials and the Hebrew word "Chai" ("life") form three corners. The various hands complement one another, and create a texture purely based on lettering. Text area is about 15"x 20". Ketubah is a Jewish wedding covenant Bride , Groom, Rabbi/Officiant and witnesses sign under the Chuppah. All the models of my shop are originally handpainted and you will buy a print. I have many wordings to offer but the time has teached me that we save energy asking your Rabbi first. The informations i need to fill the spaces for most of the ketubot: - Hebrew/English names of the Bride, the Groom and their parents - Date , city and state of the wedding -Tell me if it is not in the afternoon, the hebrew date may vary.... - If i have to transliterate English names in Hebrew, it's better to give me the spelling your Rabbi wants. My French doesn't help.... - the wording you want and if you have it, send it to me. - the number of witnesses or how many lines you want for the signatures. Orthodox, Chabad, Conservative, Israelian and French wordings are in Aramaic, they must be confirmed even if I have versions that have already be confirmed....Each Rabbi has his own way, I respect it. Other wording are possible too. According to your Rabbi or the Officiant confirmation, we'll fill the spaces. The sample will attest of the arrangment and I will make the changes you will ask for. It may take a week, even more if your Rabbi is busy..... The price includs the custom, the print and the shipping. The creation process is made here in Jerusalem but the print will be sent from my Fineart America shop to get the best quality paper. Feel free to ask questions, I will answer as soon as possible.
