Description This one's a combination of wanting to paint lesser known fantasy creatures and finding a lovely set of watercolour brushes. Kirin (or Xirin) are mythical hooved creatures, often with horns and scales, from East Asian cultures (Wikipedia link). When I was living in Japan, I remember being surprised to find that the Japanese name for giraffe came from the same source ...so I snuck in a little giraffe print to my design. The lovely watercolour brushes are from gumroad.com/kyletwebster Brush pen, Wacom Intuos tablet, Photoshop CS6
