These socks are knit from the cuff down with a 1x1 ribbed cuff, an eye of patridge heel-flap and gusset (alternative heels can be substituted) and have a section of colourwork on the leg and a small section before the toe decreases. This pattern uses the magic loop circular needle method (but can easily be knit with dpns). This pattern has step by step English instructions with charts for the colourwork sections. There are two different stitch counts for the colourwork section on the leg. One for a small/medium size and one for large (or for any knitters with high heel arches).
