The Amande socks were inspired by the elegant, elongated shape of almonds, their milky sweetness texture, and their soft, comforting taste. Amande socks are knit in the round, from the cuff down, with a reinforced heel flap–gusset construction and a rounded toe. KNITTING PATTERN // COMING SOON Sweater in ENGLISH and GERMAN The COMING SOON Sweater is a classic, ribbed raglan sweater, worked in Half Brioche. A basic piece that can easily be combined and belongs in every wardrobe. The sweater is worked seamlessly in the round, top-down, with raglan shaping in the yoke. It starts at the neckline. After all raglan increases have been worked, the work is divided and the body and sleeves are finished separately. The neck band is added at the end and can therefore be individually adjusted in length. / Level: Advanced Techniques used: Half Brioche with yarn overs, left and right leaning increases, double decreases, Italian BO method. / Sizes: XS (S) M (L) XL (XXL) Chest circumference: 98 (104) 110 (122) 128 (136) cm / 38.5 (41) 43 (48) 50 (54) inches total length: 53 (54) 55 (57) 59 (62) cm / 20.8 (21.2) 21.6 (22.4) 23.2 (24.4) inches Sleeve length from underarm: 41 (42) 43 (44) 44 (44) cm / 16.1 (16.5) 16.9 (17.3) 17.3 (17.3) inches The sweater must have a 'positive ease' of approx. 10-15 cm in relation to the body. Adjust needle size, if necessary, to obtain the right gauge/tension. For the 'Como' yarn quality, for example, it is advisable to go half a needle size down (3.5 mm / (US 4/UK 10 or 9), since the quality is slightly less elastic, which means that the pattern stretch out more in width and length. Our Double-Thick Pot Holder, designed by Daniella Taylor, is a cute and handy knit to protect your hands (and counters and tables) from the heat! This pattern’s fun construction begins with a tube knit in the round that you seal at the top with a three-needle bind off. After you make the little hanging loop, you open up the pouch, triumphantly flatten it into a square, and whipstitch a design-detail seam! The garter stitch surface of the Double-Thick Pot Holders shows off the unique coloring of our dappled Sunshower Cotton. Its white base shows through as a printed dye dances on the surface of the yarn, and each stitch is a beautiful little surprise as the hues shift under your fingers! Made in Italy of 100% organically grown cotton, this worsted-weight yarn has a satisfying heft and supple feel. Each pot holder takes just one skein of this soft and sturdy yarn, so each three-skein Double-Thick Pot Holder Bundle will make three (and our big beautiful rainbow-of-twelve bundle will make a giant stack!). You’re gonna want to make some for everyone!
