Scroll down for bahasa Indonesia Welcome October... yuhuuu... Batam a little bit cool because it is raining. Rainy season in on the way, yeayy.. I am happy if rain is coming, but..there always but...need more time to make my laundry dry. This is one of stay at home mom problem who does all the housework. When talk about the season, my daughter Pipi ever asked me when she was still in preschool. "Mom, when the snow is coming? I will make snowman outside when the snow is coming." Then I told her, Indonesia is a tropical country dear, we will never have snow here, we only have dry and rainy season." She nodded as if she understood, but still tried to figured out. Then I said, "When you grow older you will understand." And now she understands already. She told me that if she wants to build a snowman she will come to England, Korea, the USA or Japan. Then she asked me, "when will you take me to one of the country?" "ho ho ho... maybe someday Pipi, when we have enough money for traveling," I said. She started love snowman when she watched Frozen the movie, there is Olaf the cute little snowman whose nose from a carrot. Who doesn't know Olaf, Olaf is very famous among little children and their parents😀. Frozen made my daughter sings Let It Go very well, until now, lol. But since COCO the movie played in cinema after that Remember Me become her favorite song. After some time, her father downloaded COCO, every day she watched the movie. She even could remember the story and all the soundtracks. I remember when Pipi with excited face was telling me about Dante... Hmmm..I should back to raisin butter cake. I made this cake a few days ago. I have all the ingredients in my pantry, so no need to think twice, just baking and voila..a very simple and easy but delicious cake is served for my family. My husband who doesn't really like cakes, eat 2 slices at a time. This raisin cake only need 5 ingredients, around 20 minutes for preparation and 35 minutes for baking. It is a simple cake, isn't it? Let's jump to the recipe..here it is... Raisin Butter Cake Ingredients : 200 gr salted butter (or unsalted butter, up to you) 180gr caster sugar 4 medium eggs 200 gr all-purpose flour, sifted 100 gr raisin, lightly coated with flour Direction : Preheat oven to 180 degrees Celcius. Butter the pan, dust with flour, set aside. In a large mixing bowl with a hand mixer or stand mixer with a high speed, cream butter and caster sugar until fluffy and pale in color. Add eggs one at a time and mix until well incorporated. Reduce the speed to medium, add in the flour, mix just until incorporated. Turn off the mixer, fold in the raisin and mix well. Bake at 180 degrees Celcius for about 35 minutes until a toothpick or bamboo skewer inserted into the cake comes out clean. Selamat mencoba...
